Wanky. Went out last night and got a book (Mike Nelson's Mind Over Matters) - articles by the Midwestern boy from MST3K... garunteed to make me laugh... he has a great, sarcastic, and just odd at points sense of humor.
Hahhh... some tea served from a japanese set would be nice right now... nice warm steaming cup of green or jasmine, or oolong. I may go find a cup right now.
I lost all my sponsorships over the weekend... apparently they just wanted a commerical out of me, and then cut me off after that. I need to look over my contract to see what i'm entailed to. Still, it's me and my AMVs still...

I nevrrrrrrrrr thought it'd end up THIS way

Ever since I got my sponsorships for my AMVs, life has been different. JVC was an interesting one... first they sent me that camera, and then the whole deal with the patches on my jacket, and stuff. Stickers on my computer, etc. Hey, they're cutting the checks, they can put stickers on whatever they want. Pennzoil was interesting, though... I didn't know why they wanted to sponsor me for AMVs... I mean, c'mon - what the hell does oil have to do with AMV editing, right? The commercial I did with them will be on the radio soon, but I still remember the script:
"Hi Folks, this is Sushi Boy Jared, editor of Anime Music Videos. When I'm locked in my suite for days on end, it's good to know that I have the ruddy power of Pennzoil protecting my car, and motorcycle engines from wear and tear over long periods of time. Use Pennzoil - when you have to be sure."
Kellogs was another one I was unsure about... but, they're thinking about using me to replace Tony the Tiger. That would be strange, but, like I said, they're cutting the checks. This is going to change my video style, for sure...

Sometimes I wonder whether it'd be better for me to just stay at home some days... I have nothing to do!!!!!!!!!!!! I'd better start finding some freelance, because I think theres only so long they can pay me to not be busy...
it's not that I don't want to work... I'd love for there to be video to do... then I could ignore the internet for a while. I was thinking about a post I made about why never to get a job as a video editor if you like AMVs... heres a reason not to get a job as a video editor regardless of your likes and dislike: The Video Industry SUCKS right now.

Cops pull me over just to... just to WHAT???

Oh my GOODNESS!!!!!!!! AWA IS SO FRICKEN SOoN! Ah! I wish I had done more videos... I'm looking foreward to seeing the Expo videos this year - it's always a treat. The pro and masters should be interesting for sure... though sometimes I wonder why people entered certain videos into certain contests. Lack of confidence seems to be why a lot of REALLY good videos end up in Expo (that or laziness, and deadline ignorance)... I had a few videos I wondered about in the Pro contest last year - "er... what is this?"
AMVs... I love 'em ... god I have no time for them... but I love 'em
