I was just reading EK's journal, and uh... now I'm getting paranoid. :::looks at calendar::: oh shit... I'm 21...
but honestly, I doubt there would be a draft for a war like this...
I am tired... very tired... got up to drive Lesley (my girlfriend) to reclaim something in her past... her crew from college needed a sub (not her Krew, mind you, her Crew, as in Rowing), so she's filling in there for I have no clue how long... this is all starting to take a toll on me... I know she doesn't mean to, but driving around is starting to suck... my car is taking half a tank in two days... normally that can last almost a business week... gahh, maybe thats just my car falling apart. Blah.
Conventions... conventions... I'm going to Necronomicon, I guess... going with my friend damon, who is an artist, and I Guess is going to be on some panels there... wonder if they do AMVs? Probably not. I heard that Orson Scott Card and Timothy Zahn will be there as geusts... thats kind of neat... sadly, I've read more of Timothy Zahn's work, than of Orson Scott Card's, but I'm sure he wont be offended... Enders Game is a great book, but I never got into any of the other books he wrote. Oh well.
I hope the convention is fun... i dont usually go to the SciFi oriented ones anymore (used to be the only place I could find anime), well, that is except for megacon, but thats kuz Anime Sushi runs viewing rooms there... blah, I need to get ready for work. -

Exporting video from the editing system, and getting ready to put it down on a cd-r so I can have dig. copies. Yayyy...
Ok... so anyway, divx to mpg, 320x240, gonna have fun tonight!
I'm trying to get a ftp thingee going, but its suchhh a pain... Soon, though. Oh yeah, I redid the subtitles on my Smack My Bitch Up video, and no they are almost legible! Woohoo! My spelling sucks...

Blah! Work is so stupid sometimes:
I had the person I needed in my office ready to finish the damned part of the project were on... instead, someone else came in and demanded that I get them video equipment for somepersonal project over the weekend... so, finally, my project got tossed on some burner that isn't even in the fucking kitchen, and I spent the greater part of the afternoon assembling a two camera package for him to go shoot some little 17 year old girl he's obsessed with's singing thing at some convention for a church or something. Grahhhh!!!! Now, its 4, or a little after, or whatever, and I cant get any work done on my project, I'll look like the asshole, and fuck all...
So I'm gratuitously surfing the web, pissed off, listening to Komputer (The world of tomorrow... dootdoootleyydootdootdoot)... dammit, why'd I have to leave the KMFDM cd at home today... rah, could use that one.
I think I scared the ISS Guy... I let him take a look at my perfect blue dvd... hehe, I don't think he liked it. Sorry!! Context, jared, context!
Thats it, I'm spending an hour after work digitizing my friggin old AMV's, and making them into usable formats. And no one can stop meeee.... mauahahahahahahha!!!!!!!!!!! Oh, btw... (Komputer-BillGates...), spicy pita and twisty pasta salad stuff leaves you with nasty breath, as I've been told. Geez -_- -

And now, the main course! I just had lunch at a greek restauraunt... I had rootbeer with my pita... I feel sort of... I dunno... fizzy.
Last night a kid came over to my house (with my roommate, Linh) who knew me only as "Jesus Waiter" (him and his friends came into Dennys while I still worked there during the low point of my life, and thought my long haired self looked like "jesus")... he had with him the New Aphex Twin album, which I snatched up immediately (it hasn't come out yet).... it was decent... lots of piano... odd... called "DrukQs"
Anyway, he asked about my keyboards... I said I made industrial music... he asked about my cds... I said I djed industrial music... he asked about the tapes... I like anime... he asked about why Iw as watching the same scene over and over again in an anime... I said I was making a video... oddly enough, he was into all the same stuff...
hah, now I'm no longer "Jesus Waiter from Dennys"... I'm that guy who made that silly "smack my bitch up video"... hmm... I wonder if that qualifies as a promotion! I wonder if theres a benefits package...
