Oh my God, I was wrong! It was Earth all along!

Deadpool: Actually, I was listening to Jim's Big Ego's cover of that song, but now that you mention it, I remember that episode.
I wish the Simpsons came on a couple hours later out here so I could catch it on weeknights.
My favorite Simpsons musical reference is still the one in the Jane Goodall episode, mainly because Brett and I had been waiting for it for the entire show.
"She's got diamonds everywhere! Even on the soles of her shoes!"

Yay for cable modem at Brett's house.
I just did my first download-and-review in like 2 or 3 months...

Nailz: The way I finish a video in 4 hours is to:
1. use music that's less than a minute long
2. not care
If I put less than 10 hours into it, it's just because I'm doing it for shits -n- giggles.

AAAAAH.
This oekaki took me 90 minutes and it SUCKS, but oh well.

This takes a while to load, and it's pretty long, but you kind of get to see the process better this way.
I'm stuck on "We Built This City on Rock And Roll". Gott in Himmel.

dji: I'd do another one, but I generally try to wait until my last drawing has been pushed out of the queue to do another.
Of course, the rakugaki-tengoku oekaki BBS (If you know what that string of terms means, you are a fellow NERD) doesn't get much traffic, so another one might be excusable. Hell, since Oekaki 1.32 uses layers and soft paint tools, I might actually be able to draw something fairly nice this time. (That Spike pic was a total mess.)
I admit I like Oekaki 1.0 a little better, though. It's more of a challenge to try to get a soft look without any sort of blending tool - just straight flat color or dot patterns...
Oekaki 1.0 drawings (from Jazz Session):

I try to be polite and post in both languages when I draw there. My Japanese is at the "Me Tarzan" level, but with that and the aid of Amikai and simple sentence structure, we can converse a bit.
Wondering if there's some sort of nuance-y difference between "kakkoii" and "kachoii"... I've noticed that "kawayuui" is only used as a variant on "kawaii" when something is EXCEEDINGLY cute...
Hrm. Anyway.
I think I'll try doing that oekaki now.
