My dishwasher is leaking onto the kitchen floor. It's NAST. I just turned it off... I should call maintenance, but then they'd discover the CAT IN MY APARTMENT.
That's right, I have somehow acquired a cat. No idea why I said "somehow", as the cause is clear - I'm a softie.
Trying to find a good home for him - he was obviously abandoned by his previous owner, so... in the meantime, he's relaxing on my couch.
I hope the SPCA has a good deal on de-boy-ifying. I checked, and yup, he's very much a boy cat. O_o
Super-affectionate and sweet kitty. What's odd is that he came to me in the same manner as Godai (my last cat), looks like a shorthair version of Godai, and sounds just like Boofus (my first cat).
Trying to pick out a name for him in the meantime. Miles, maybe.
Oh, saw Lord of the Rings tonight. Enjoyed it immensely. I want to go back and read the books again.

Well, I fasted for 30 hours and feel worlds better now.
Man, how do I love my webhost? Let me count the ways - not only have they been SOLID for the entire time BBT's been there, but tech support is fast & helpful, and get this - they just QUINTUPLED my space and bandwidth allowance. FOR FREE. Hot damn.
God, I love Hurricane Electric.
In other news, apparently the Japanese encoding in the mail Ken & I sent to Yuri got messed up, but she could read the English well enough to get the gist of it (don't worry Ken, I'm still going to watch & review your vids later this week), and she wants to send me the book for FREE. W00t! I feel some serious thank-you gift art coming on.
Bruce Lewis and I are going to do a CB doujinshi!

Didn't get to see LotR, it's sold out in Austin.
I busted 2 fingers on my drawing hand - they're all big and swollen >_< Was playing tug of war with the dog, dog let go as I was pulling back, index & middle finger joints collide at top speed with metal door hinge.
