JOURNAL: Big Big Truck (E K)

  • Can't this wait till I'm old? Can't I live while I'm young? 2002-01-22 18:13:17 Redirect pages are up on BBT if you don't feel like using the static IP.

    Going out for a hardcore workout tonight. Brett and I are training together. (I almost typed "straining", there). Had a harrowing Cathy Guisewite-esque experience in the Old Navy fitting rooms this weekend and decided that just jogging and situps isn't cutting it anymore.
    On the upside, I got a new pair of shoes and two shirts. One's a white men's-style dress shirt meant to be worn with cuffs rolled (hush), and the other's a cap sleeve tee with the alphabet printed vertically A-M in something that looks like Impact Meets Stomper and Runs Through the Chank Diesel Filter.

    I know, I know. Hush.
  • I yanked down my tunic and dangled my stash 2002-01-22 13:15:32 w00t! BBT is movin' and groovin'. Downloading my entire site (all 64 MB) as I type this (I burned it to CD, but the whole Windows-to-Mac thing effed up the filenames).

    Temporary URL is: http://66.186.211.202 - I'm putting a redirect on the he.net pages as soon as the Bebop directory uploads.

    The big-big-truck.com address should be working by tomorrow.
    Debating using a separate domain for the Bebop site... nahh.

    Brett finished his music video last night. It is mighty fine. It's like he's been doing this for three years already. If he makes any more he's going to start kicking my ass hardcore.
    In the figurative sense, of course.

  • if my eyes can see / the spirit of the chosen one 2002-01-21 22:41:42 Ooookay, featureprice folks, you can hurry up and email me now ^^;
  • I'm for-eeeeever youuuurs, faithfully... 2002-01-21 15:41:57 Just so y'all know, BBT is going to be wonky for a couple of days while I switch hosts.
    I wish the he.net and featureprice admins would hurry up and WRITE ME.
  • No me llores, no me llores mas 2002-01-21 11:02:03 Mechaman: Actually, my parents hardly ever look at my site. Mainly because they don't understand a lot of it, and I'm OK with that. I never talk to my parents about fandumb.
    Not because fandumb would offend them, it's just completely outside their realm of experience. It's the same reason I don't talk about anime with non-fans.
    My folks never really got enthusiastic about my art, but they saw that I enjoyed it and did pretty good work, so they figured I should pursue what makes me happy, and backed me all the way.
    On the same level, I'll never really understand my Dad's love of aerodynamic engineering, but it's cool to see him get excited about a new project.

    Roar. BBT switching hosts today.
