OK, my host seems to be behaving... for now.
Sat up too late drawing last night - worked for a good hour and a half on this one sketch only to discover glaring anatomy errors at the last minute. Cripes. No art for me.
Going to try and finish the program book today. We got an ad from a prep school (?!) that's in JPEG format and nigh-unprintable in its poorly-scanned-ness. Uggh.
Other than that, most everything is ready for the con. Now if people would just stop emailing me saying "I preregistered and you guys didn't mail me my badge!" "That's because you pick it up at the con." *grumble frumble* Although I suppose I should be grateful we have a lot of newbies instead of a bunch of really jaded folks expecting something on par with, say, Otakon.
KoHD came in today. Won't have time to watch till after the con; won't have room to rip until Brett finishes his vid (no rush, though.) I have my songs picked out and have worked out how I am going to do the opening titles and transitions on each (they're kind of similar; I'm working with the less repetitive song first.)
I don't want to talk too much about my videos here, since one will debut (noncompetitively) at Jacon and maybe go into AWA's Pro Contest, but I think it's sort of a given that I'd be doing an AMV or two with this, so no surprises for anyone there.
Also considering doing another "compilation" video - not like "Failed Experiments", but just a simple collection of neat stuff that never got off the ground for one reason or another. Like some intro and title sequences I've done that I never got to use. Probably just include it as omake on my VCD.
If I can figure out how to make interactive animated menus for that, I plan on using the first minute or so of "Glide" by Phish as the BGM.

I am SERIOUSLY pissed at my new host. Fifth "server too busy" error tonight. Yeah, sure, when I'm FORTY-FOUR GIGS BELOW my bandwidth limit. I like how the tech help folks I contacted said I have unlimited b/w and then I check into my control panel and see it's 51 GB. That's nice.
Filed another ticket with the helpdesk. -_-
They have five days to get their butts in gear.
Maaaaah, screw it. I'm gonna go watch Home Movies.

Why do I keep getting request timeout errors and "server too busy" errors at big-big-truck? And why are my thumbnail images disappearing?
Crud. Seriously. My Bebop fanart page has been loading for the past three minutes. Ridiculous.
