JFC. Just when I get the program book ready to go we have to revise the entire f-ing panel schedule.
If Ushicon takes this much work, I don't know HOW people run cons like AX or Otakon.
Updated big-big-truck today while shipping prints & waiting for bids.

Note to self: never consume pastrami and sake within the same five-hour period EVER AGAIN.
Good Lord. I woke up out of a dream that I had to take my final in Dark Magic at Hogwarts, which consisted of staying up for 36 hours in my old freshman dorm at Berry while it snowed outside. At some point I also drank cooking vinegar and sneaked around and used Galena's computer to make AMV journal entries about how great the Ushicon program book was.
It is pretty sweet, though, thanks to the loveliness that is QuarkXpress. If there were a Desktop Publishing School, QXP qould be the kid with the tousled hair who was liked by all the other apps on the playground. Except for PageMaker, who is bitter and jealous because he keeps breaking and can't measure up to the standards set by his brothers and sisters.
Anyway.
Off to Wendy's for my weekly breakfast biscuit. So bad for me. So wrong. Yet I cannot resist the siren call. (Will work out extra hard tonight to assuage the guilt.)
Oh, speaking of Wrong... here's your link for the day.

Please note that this was not my doing -- for once.
I will now go remove my eyeballs with a grapefruit spoon.

Steve: I hereby disavow any knowledge of any eBay auctions of WRONG.
Come on, you know I just linked that to see everyone yarf.
And to prove I'm not the sickest one out there - by FAR. :D
Did a test print of the Ushicon program book today. Looks great so far. ::crosses fingers::

and he thought he heard the echoes of a pennywhistle band / and the laughter from a distant caravan / and the brightly painted line of circus wagons in the sand / fading through the door into summer

If anyone knows this song, I'll be assuaged my the knowledge that I'm not the only old-fashioned dork on this site.
Hand a little better today. Brace is helping a bit. Thumb still hurts tho.
English dub of Excel Saga is premiering at Ushicon. Put those tomatoes away - it's quite good (!!)
Been addicted to David Byrne's "Make Believe Mambo" lately.
