Kusoyaro: I'm right there with you. The KoHD video seems like an insurmountable task- it's so much easier to just churn out fun titles or silly crap than tro to piece together a full AMV from a movie with that many themes and different types of scenes.
It *does* feel like work - "I gotta have a video for AWA" rather than "I want to make a new video for AWA".
I'm giving this KoHD thing another 6 weeks to get underway before I nix it all and start my Utena movie vid. Which (again) no one else will like, but - 'ey, screw 'em. -

Well, this weekend was entirely too short. That's probably because I spent most of it sleeping, but can you blame me? Friday's drive (and the five workdays leading up to that drive) were full of stress and sleep deprivation, and Saturday was full of Moving, Toddler, and Unwarranted Bitchiness.
I feel kind of bad about the whole affair, although I will allow that it brought Brett and me closer together mentally, now that we've both experienced the "hey, come entertain us - oh wait, never mind, you're boring, go away" thing.

Matt, is it just me, or has he just gradually started making less and less sense since the war began? Maybe it's just that every time I read the word "Hitler" when someone is trying to make a point, my brain shuts down and refuses to process any of the surrounding verbiage.

I jest. Of course, when I see an artist this young and this good, my first reaction is SOUL CRUSHING DESPAIR, which lasts for about 3 seconds, and then I just get determined to find out how they do that thing they do. Fortunately, Mr. Tsang here has a tutorial, and I tried out his Painter method on a quick sketch.

I created a custom brush based on the Camel Hair brush he uses. Works pretty well, and I plan to use it again soon.
Gotta take my car to the shop today... blah, blah, blah. The gym I normally go to is closed due to suckage, so Brett and I are going canoeing this afternoon.
