It's hilarious that people think that taking preexisting music and pairing it with preexisting cartoons will actually matter worth a fart in a whirlwind.
AMVs are pointless.
But they're FUN.
If you start assigning undue significance to what, essentially, is a COPYRIGHT VIOLATION DONE FOR FUN ON FREE TIME, the fun factor gets diminished and obscured.
Thanks to Nightowl for saying things with an eloquence that I lack. I'm going to put the finishing touches on my first video in 2 years tonight.
