Have will to work on AMVs but no time. Catching "Road to Perdition" tonight at 7:30, and it's either go to the gym or eat dinner beforehand, not both. Thursday I have another hardcore training session. Friday we bolt straight from work to Houston for a voice audition that goes till 10. Saturday Brett records at ADV in Houston and I work with Doug on my freelance taxes. Sunday we get home, I have another hardcore training session, and Brett plays a gig at World Beat.
Also have 3 freelance jobs going now. And a brochure coming due at work. And getting ready to move.
On the upside, the Soul Coughing video is almost done, and my Trigun video will not be longer than a minute. It's going to be fecking hylarious. But not in that "oh, that wacky Vash" way.
That is, if anyone actually gets it. The song is very politically incorrect, but I'm not feeling too guilty about it. The second verse is hilarious, but it bugs the krep out of me that they pronounce "guerra" as "gwerra".
I don't plan on providing a subtitled translation of the lyrics. I think it'd be funnier without one.
Need to figure out how to add some good pops and hisses to the audio and how to get the video to jiggle vertically.
FLCL Vid: I'm rendering this sans effects first then adding the effects to the rendered full color AVI, since each clip will have to be desaturated and then adjusted to a single color using hue/sat.
What have I gotten into?

Heard about the AX fiasco (a little bit) from Ian. Hugs to all y'all who missed the show. :(
FINALLY found the song I want to use for my Trigun video. Of course using this song means that this AMV will end up being an anime parody of Mexican silent films of the 1910's and 1920's.
I don't think that category exists in any contest. HAW! -

MCWagner: Yup, still reading the updated journals in my Buddies list every couple of days. Question: how does one know if one is pandering? I personally don't know the judges' tastes.
FLCL video coming along pretty well. I'll be trying a lot of monochrome/duotone effects in this one.
Feeling sick today. Leaving work at noon. Going to go home and work on video more.
