First 4 seconds of the new video is done.
The weather is just bad enough, and I am just sick enough, not to feel bad about staying in. Allergies are bad enough that walking just half a mile made me tired. Hard to breathe. I hate breathing through my mouth, it makes me look like I'm from Alabama.
Oh, wait.
It's kind of hard to feel motivated to keep editing when no one else is excited about it. Part of the whole, "I must excite and entertain AT ALL TIMES or else I am just wasting air and space" neurosis, I guess.
Back to work. The way this project is shaping up, it's close to the old linear stuff I used to do. No clip is shorter than 2 seconds so far. Whee, slow songs.

Argh. Managing all these long .avis in one .ppj file is going to be a bitch :/ I think I may end up using the same "well, I know what I want *here*..." method for this video that I used back when doing analog stuff.
Didn't get back from the gym till late, so only lay down 3 edits last night. Wooooo.

The Great Big 3GB Conversion(tm) was a failure :/ I'm converting each .vob individually and rendering them to .avi individually. Hopefully this will work.
They take about 45 minutes each... rar.
I got chapters 2-6 done last night, plus the interlaced version of chapter 7... converting 1 and 7 tonight.
Using the PicVideo MJPEG codec with quality set at 6 (also known as "shitty enough to edit quickly, but unshitty enough that you can still see the image"). Mmmm, nice an' chunkay.
