Decided to wait to post the link for my Masters MPEG until I gauge the reaction at AWA.
Had mostly good reactions so far, but want to be careful. -

Just had my Pro and Masters entries sorta dissed via IM. It sucked, but I was waiting for that shoe to drop. Better it happen now than later.
I'm kind of wondering if I'm alienating/selling out by moving out of my old-school style of editing. Right now, to me, impact, effort/love (or "heart"), and creativity are more important than technical aspects or artistic integrity. I'm more of the "go for whatever expands your creative possibilities" mindset than the "stick with what the creator made".
I really respect the opinions of a lot of the old-school creators, more so than the newer ones, but I don't want to make another vid where things drag on too long or where I use a straight cut where a fade or overlay would be better.
