No I'm not depressed, just listened to Steve Conte on the way into work today. Mmmm, Steve Conte. What Richard Ashcroft would sound like if he had balls.
I did the unthinkable last night and fell asleep during "Ganymede Elegy". YES, you read it here first, E.K. FELL ASLEEP DURING COWBOY BEBOP.
One of my favorite episodes, too.
Because it features Jet, the most underappreciated anime character ever.
Last night was the Smorgasbord of Television Goodness... "Alias" at 8, a whole hour of "Home Movies" at 9 (I think everyone hates this show but me), then an episode from the new Trigun DVD I got yesterday, then Space Ghost, then Bebop.
I diddled around with "Down in the River" some more yesterday, but I'm not ready to work on AMVs again any time soon. Looking at the Premiere screen made my eyes start to burn, and I think I got a rash.
Kidding.

I just loosed Giant Robo from his moorings.
O.M.F.G this figure fucking RULES. It's die cast Robo with the rocket boosters on his back, and interchangeable gund and hands and... ::falls over drooling:: Anyway, he's on top of my desk next to my monitor now. He's all about to kick my ass with GIANT ROBO PUNCH. And I put the machineguns in his chest.
Ginrei and Faye Valentine are on top of my monitor now, next to Grover. Hello everybodeeeeeeeee, here are my two anime fabulous fembitch idols. Spike's been relegated to a spot next to my speaker.
Faye's arms are detachable and if you wiggle them it looks like she's DJing. Wikky wikky. -

If anyone reading this knows who signs the song quoted in the subj line, PLEASE e-mail me and tell me... Song title is "American in Paris". i freaking love that song. A friend of mien back in HS made me a mix tape with that and K's Choice and Bunnygrunt...
Anyway, I found the original 640x480 .avi of "Down in the River" and have eben tweaking it. Found some leftover .avi files from the Bebop DVDs and am going to try and patch it up.
Also started work on editing the sound for a new project today.
I slept weird on my neck last night and it's killing me. Ouchie!
