Knghtbrd: yeah, sorry if I scared you. I just panicked and needed to vent. I saw the news footage down in the student center lobby and my insides disappeared. I'm just hoping that "engine failure" are the magic words.
Sigh.
I have either a cold or nasty allergies. I think it's whatever's been going around the office (ANTHRAX!!!!) or my annual flu/cold ick.
If only I could keep that feeling of constantly drinking hot tea without, you know, actually constantly drinking hot tea.

I had a dream this weekend that I had a table at the Tokyo Summer Comic Market (Natsucomi/Comiket), except that I didn't have much in the way of doujinshi to sell, so I baked brownies and cookies and sold those instead.
Also, I apparently spoke perfect Japanese and was getting along swimmingly with all the doujin artists. Also, instead of being in a jam-packed auditorium, Comiket was spread out over a multi-level open air plaza.

Knghtbrd: James Lileks once used "texavery" as a verb. I think it needs to become part of the official lexicon.
Kwasek: if you're reading this, I responded to one of your journal entries on the 8th or so. I think my response has gotten pushed off the page though.
Today's been slow. Had Part II of Ushicon staff meeting, updated con webpage, played with Bob (who has recently decided that the command "down" means "lie down, then after 2.5 seconds, roll over and present your belly for rubbing"), now I'm going to go grocery shopping.

Just went to see Spriggan... it was real pretty to look at and real dumb.
Also had a late staff meeting for Ushicon... got the basics of the schedule hammered out. (No, we are not having a music video contest, just a non-competitive AMV show in one of the Video rooms.)
Got kickass fanart for the Bebop site from Catherine Yen. Woohoo!
Also went shopping today and got the greatest pants ever. They make me look and feel two sizes smaller. Than the pants are. Than I am. Whatever.
