JOURNAL: Big Big Truck (E K)

  • she took my data / she made me kill myself 2001-11-27 14:58:34 Heh. I see pyro72 found out what I meant w/r/t ff.net.
Is it Sturgeon's Law that says that 90% of everything is crap?

I tried writing a CB fic once, but got bored and gave up after a couple of paragraphs, thus sparing the world from more suffering.

    God, I'm so bored today.
  • Aoi sora no shita de / kaze wa mirai ni fuku 2001-11-27 12:20:24 Isn't it embarrassing when you have to go to the drugstore for some "special items", and when you're checking out, the cashier looks at you like, "oh, I know what YOU'RE doing tonight..."
Yep, that cashier read all the signs... canned chicken soup, TheraFlu, Halls, NyQuil, the bigass bottles of OJ and grapefruit juice... he knew and I knew that I had a date with the teevee and a down comforter. Awww yeah.

MCWagner: Thanks to the cold, I skipped the gym and actually caught Justice League and Batman Beyond for the first time last night.
I was *MUCH* more impressed with BB, I have to say. The timing was tighter, the acting was more expressive, and --come on, how cool is this-- Batman STUCK HIS TONGUE OUT at the villains as he swung past.
Justice League was enjoyable, but I was really taken aback by how wooden the voice-acting was. Superman used the same tone and feeling when talking to his comrades as he did giving commands to a computer.
Who does the voice of the Flash? I've heard him before. Green Lantern, too.

Today I'm doing BADASS FANART for Asari.

Oh, and after a ludicrously long stretch of 80 degree weather, it's FINALLY getting down to 45 this afternoon.
    About damn time.

80 to sleet in 2 days... ahh, Texas.
  • Cal-i-for-nia is druggy druggy druggy druggy 2001-11-26 15:29:52 My eyes and nose are ON FIRE, and this time I can't blame evil doujinshi.

    I hate being sick.

  • You're not from Brighton 2001-11-26 09:49:30 Knghtbrd: zshwuh?? O_o Did we watch the same episode last night? I was surprised with how much they kept, though the blood was *really* toned down. (What was *up* with the decision to narrow the stream of blood down his face? I don't think it looked bad, but for all the difference it made (i.e. none) it just seems like a lot of unnecessary and time-consuming work for the cleanup artists.)
The two things that would have bothered me had they been cut were the blood on his face, and a certain one of the flashback shots. The blood was kept (tho reduced a bit) and the flashback shot was kept, so I'm happy. I've got the DVDs anyhow, so whatever.

Watching TRFB I & II with a 101 degree fever & raging sore throat (it's ANTHRAX!!) = grueling.

I still feel like hell today, but not enough like hell to take LWOP when I need money for Christmas. (I used up all my sick time for Nov. on a piddly little head cold -- er, ANTHRAX!!)
I should have known better. Spending Thanksgiving in a house with 6 people, including a 2 year old, is not conducive to A+ health.

Maybe coffee will make it better.

I got 5 emails from total strangers about my Bebop site this weekend. Happy happy! Plus 2 pieces of gift art from Japan. They're going up today.
I think the Bebop site gets about twice as many hits as BBT's main page does, which is kind of sad. Oh well...

  • he will not touch the pastry but every day they bring him more 2001-11-24 19:22:11 Iserlohn: glad you liked the cake! ^_^

This weekend has been long and laid-back.

I think children between the ages of 1 and 6 speak a foreign mystery language.
