Some David Byrne ideas I had this morning - tossing them out because I don't mind if someone wants to do them before I get the chance...
"A Long Time Ago" - Lain
"Lilies of the Valley"/"The Cowboy Mambo (Hey Lookit Me Now)" - Trigun
"Sad Song" - Perfect Blue (this one would be creepy as hell.)

Tonight:
1. I filled my tank for <Doc Brown voice>EIGHTY EIGHT CENTS A GALLON.</Doc>
2. Watched "Guess Who's Coming To Dinner", which is a fucking fantastic movie, and one that no one will understand once our generation dies, and drew this:

StudioKZ: I know what you mean about Premiere. It took a couple of tries before I spotted the problem, but I've had it too. It's been consistent enough that I can work around it, though.
I've discovered that if you're syncing an explosion or gunshot to a beat in Premiere, you'll want the frame that depicts the very beginning of the fire lined up with the peak of the waveform.
Been real bored today - no one's talking on my forums or on Jazz Session or rakugaki-tengoku.
Made some mousepad art for a friend - a high res version of my Jet wallpaper.
I'm beginning to get real nervous about Ushicon. None of our guests are getting back in touch with our guest relations guy, AFTER they've given us the go-ahead and confirmed. What's up with that?
Also, there's a good number of folks who don't seem to realize that a first-year con is NOT GOING TO HAVE A BIG BUDGET. We've gotten more than just a few requests for Japanese guests like Hikaru Midorikawa. YEAH, RIGHT - we'll fly them over and wine and dine and translate with _what money_??
Also have been getting emails like, "do I have to pay to register?" and "do I have to register to get into the convention?" and "What do you mean, the dealer's room is already sold out! I DEMAND a table!"
Idiots. -_-
Anyway, Today's Linkage:

"And over in Callander, Ont., Roy Ettles got a shock when a two-pound bass fell from the sky while he was doing some yard work.
'When it landed, it was "still squirming a bit,' he said."

Watch the process of me drawing an Oekaki of Spike from "Jupiter Jazz" at the rakugaki-tengoku board. (only works in MSIE w/ Java on.) This oekaki function is so neat :D I activated it by accident.

New Cowboy Bebop wallpaper for all you Paul Simon fans (~780K, 1024x768):

I'm officially in an artistic slump.
It's been over 3 weeks since I've drawn something original. Bebop fanart has been the flimsy styrofoam ring that keeps me afloat and drawing at all - it's my easy way out, my crutch.
I couldn't even do fanart yesterday, but that might have had more to do with not getting enough sleep and feeling like hell...
I just want to have some creativity again.
Maybe this kind of thing comes and goes in cycles. I had a real burst of creative energy late this summer, when I was making all my AMVs and drawing the latest WPOC strips... and now... nothing.
Not sure how to get out of it.

What do you see when you turn out the light?

Harper: thanks for the kind words (I'm so glad someone likes that video other than me T_T... it's the one I really put my heart into)... but... what are you talking about? Judges? Members Main Page? I looked at mine and didn't see what you were referring to...
