- An Odd Alliance 2001-11-07 09:08:36 I have never truely loved techno. Let me get that out there right now. The happy-go-lucky beats and synthetic lyrics tend to get to me, and I just don't enjoy it. However, I have recently been approached by a friend of my sister, whom is in the 'click' of the Orlando, FL area DJ realm, and she has introduced me to an amazing fellow who, for now, will remain unnamed. Let us just say, he has changed my view on techno, with some amazing remixes no one else would think to do, and techno that has a truely operatic feel to it. Anyhow, the alliance I have mentioned in the topic revolves around the idea that has come to play. I will be doing a 20-30 minute long music video set to a broad portion of his new, unreleased album, which will be playing behind him while he mixes the stuff live in a club in O-town itself. Now, trying to keep with the reason I started AMV's in the first place... I've denied a monetary charge for this. Instead, I just want my name on the credits, and a mention that the video is not only for fans of techno, but fans of animation and alliances it holds to that ever-changing, pulse-pounding aura that is the synthetic world of music.
- Rain Rain Go Away 2001-09-14 12:29:08 I live in St. Pete Florida.... and lets just say, DAMN. It has not let up for at least 8 hours, now. My American flag out front of the house blew away... I think it is somewhere on the roof. The road is flooded, meaning a block from me a natural wading pool has formed. This is all around a dirty day to be outside... why do people live in Florida with this kinda crap going on...
- Boredom and a bum leg... 2001-09-10 16:56:33 Today, I fell. Crossing the street to my highschool, I landed all 245+ lbs of my big ass and another 30 of my backpack on my left knee, which has been damaged for a long time already, and now am stuck sitting with ice on it groaning in pain when I scratch an itch. Life is fun. Anyhow, this was written in boredom, and to test out the Journal. That is all.
