Sniping Productions note
2002-03-27 19:59:59
Those who've seen my videos so far at school have given the notice about the (c) copyright symbol next to the Sniping Productions in the videos. This does NOT mean I licensed anything. The name belongs to nobody, while the music and video are owned by their rightful owners.
Sniping Productions is a larger scale than AMVs. I'm using the name also for Music (Sniping Productions @) and an online manga project (Sniping Productions B). To make no further confusion (and especially to get accused of faking a copyright), I have forged all three in one since January first 2002. My videos of Blood: The Last Vampire, and my Final Fantasy VIII-IX tribute both go under the name of Sniping Productions. All music and manga art will also be in this name instead of their original divisions.
I apologize if anyone has been confused, or even offended by seeing the "Sniping Productions (c)" title in my videos of Tenchu 2 and Final Fantasy IX videos.

Woah! Big downloads
2002-03-27 12:56:17
I left my internet connection on yesterday and... [insert drum beat here] about 10 people got connected to downlaod my videos. There was a list of about 30 or over who tried to connect, but only 10 actually got to download during the night.
Someone was able to download the full video of Final Fantasy IX with Screwl Stew, while the rest downloaded between 5 and 10 MB before each timing out, disconnecting, or closing their computer. The majority who connected downloaded either my Tenchu 2 vid, or my Bryan Adams tribute of Final Fantasy VIII and IX. Surprisingly, noone downloaded my Tapping The Vein video, which is one of my favorites (except that the credits sucks, but atleast it's there), and my Blood: The Last Vampire vid using Linkin Park's In The End.
I will try to be connected every night from here to next Monday, and see how things go. If there are many people who come back and try to resume their downlaods they started, I will continue this practice until I get a domain... or atleast a static FTP with a site if I ever get high speed.
If anyone ever downloads a full video, I would like reviews, comments, tips, or anything that may help me get better. ("get Adobe Premiere" won't work for now, not until I finish my semester)

WinMX downloads
2002-03-26 20:28:50
For the past 3 weeks, Every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday night, I will have my computer up and running for those who want to download videos from me. The schedule is listed below.
All complete videos are available, along with some incomplete (Digimon with System of a Down, Street Fighter II V with Limp Bzkit, etc.)
Friday - 11 pm to 8 am
Saturday - either 10 or 12 pm to 8 am
Sunday - 10 pm to 7 am
I will also be online during the week, but at various hours during the night. Until I start my Summer job again, my spending money is for going out with friends, school supplies, and food. Once I start working this Summer, I will buy a domain with a few hundred megs, and upload my videos to it, so direct/indirect connection can be possible instead of you needing to download WinMX, and hopefully be able to find (and then connect...and then download at about 1-4 KB/S)
I am aware that there are still many 28K or 56K users (I'm currently a 56K user, but connected at 36K), so I can make a deal. If anyone is interested in receiving my videos on CD (which means all 5 current videos, plus a sneak peek at the few vids I started working on this year), I would gladly send it your way in exchange for your creations, or (if you're not a creator just yet) we could discuss. CDs are cheap, but sending them isn't much (burn those stamps to hell...)
