Wow! major update!

a 1 year celebration of not posting... coincidence? I think so lol
So what have I been up to in the last year...hmmm
Did a few vids, worked a lot on a company I started with my friends, and so much more. Oh, and I lived practically alone at home for about 6 months since my mom was in the hospital.
My newest video released in a vid using Rammstein's "Ich Will" with footage from the Final Fantasy movie. was more intended for the Rammstein forum rather than anime fans, since it has a LOT of metaphors and contrasts in it just like the original video, as well as having the same tempo of footage and special effects.
current project is almost done. I used (to what I found out AFTER starting the project) was the theme from LoTR2's trailer. The name of the original file was "Requiem", which I have TONS of songs with that title (I just thought this song was cool). To my astonishment, there are already many users starting their projects with that song.
Mine will be using princess mononoke, and will have audio from the movie (mostly Ashitaka and lady Ibushi). I have some finishing touches to do (the ending of it was randomly done for now just so I could figure out how much time was left before I was out of space) The music has been edited to be 10 seconds shorter than the original.
Also, my cousin is recording his first CD in 2 weeks. I will be in charge of making his music video (finally not bound to footage, since another cousin and I will be choosing the scenario). I have an amateur digital camera for now, but he said he would manage to have some top quality eq. Me so happy hehehe -

My Blood:The Last Vampire has been downlaoded through Animemusicvideos 100 times! I'd liek to thank everyone who has downloaded it so far, and I hope you enjoyed it. I'm not going to go in details of my feelings, nor make a keen observation of the video, but just thank those who downlaoded it.
For those who didn't download it, I don't beg you nor suggest you download it, but just mention that it exists. The only thing I would ask is that if you're a regular AMV creator and wish to give out tips, please download any of my available videos and give some suggestions.

FTP connection Problems

Some people consider me a lucky guy: at sports, games and guessing pretty much anything. But sometimes it seems that all the bad things happen to me, as though they were destined to be happen to NOBODY except for me. Recently, I had a major problem when it came to spending my money for a good cause:
1. I decided to put my work online. Thanks to Chambergates.com, I had some cheap prices for a large amount of space ($80 for 6 months, 250 MBs space, unlimited bandwidth). Two weeks ago, I was unable to connect to the FTP for some reason. After 3 straight days, I sent an email to them asking if I was doing something wrong. Two days later, I receive a message saying the problem has been resolved.
2. Yes! The problem was resolved: I could now connect to the site. Now, I was unable to actually LOG IN the FTP as my username. After another 3 days, I decided to send an email once again asking if it was me or something. Another 2 days gone by and I received the message "The problem has been corrected".
3. Eureka! I can now log in as my username! What? I do not have any permissions at all except download and view files already on the site! Yet again, another email goes out (third email now!) and another reply saying the problem has been corrected.
4. Now, go back to step 2 all over again!
Another email will be sent tomorrow asking to change my username/password, and giving that user more than read-only permissions -
School's Out! Videos IN!

Finally, school is over! I have a meeting with my friend tomorrow for starting our own design company, and then got soccer practice at night. And then on Wednesday, I'm going to go to my aunt's house fix my cloak for a Live D&D game, and then got a scouts reunion.
Oh! Let's not forget that I got a Live D&D game this weekend, and we're searching for a lift solution.
Anyway, school is over! Yay! Yay!
I will be starting to work on videos this Summer, and MUCH more than last Summer... wait... didn't have a good computer last Summer, I got it in October. So many projects, so little footage... I gotta get a better ripper, I am getting so many DVDs lately, but it doesn't turn out good once on my comp.
My first project is a little video of Blood: The Last Vampire, in which I received some good opinions from friends and teachers on my last video. I got 40 seconds done so far on it and my friend who came over today laughed it out. You'll all see it when it's done! ; )
And on another note, I would like to thank those who took the time to download my videos. I cannot know how many people downloaded them, since I can't connect to the ftp for some wierd reason. -
First Day of Availability

I finally got a domain, and uploaded my Blood video, "Demon Hunter". I announced the url on the forum just this afternoon, and already 40 more people watched the video's page, and almsot 30 people started downloading the video.
I hope someone writes a review/opinion about it soon, I am thinking about sending it to the Mindwarp contest.
In the following days, I will make it a priority to upload my Tapping the Vein video so that everyone can take a look at it, and hear one of the best voices that I heard so far in a rock group. As the weeks follow, I will be alternating the videos. thsi would be that each of my videos will have its time to be online and ready to be downloaded.
