I don't quite know where you live, but it's the same with me living the europes biggest "town" Ruhrgebiet, where you have no nature at all and only houses and people all around. So I usually do what Krat suggested. Just go onto the streets at night like around 3 - 4 am when there's no one around. And the earplugs, it might not be the best solution but it works.
I've been to places (like Sweden and south of Japan) where you could see the milky way, and every single star. And to places where the was not a single sound (Canyadas on Tenrifa and the Saharah desert) and everytime I remeber that I start to hate this place even more. The only thing you can do to change things is to work on something that'll get you out of there. It might take years even decades but it's worth it. I know how you feel, you have my compassion.

EP Scedule: Canceled for now
I just recieved notice that our rehearsal room got damaged by water for yet unknown reasons. It may be that the pools pump malfuncted. The current damage seems to be 6 pedals, 2 AMPs and my PA as well the basedrum. I guess that makes around 2000 - 3000 . As a matterof fact we don't have the money to get the equipment before we go to the studio so it may get postponed or as it looks right now just canceled.

... well we'll see what we can save ... but it looks gloomy at the moment.
For the editors involved in the WoF project (Xnod, GfN, Prod etc.) this could mean that the whole project will fall. But it surely depends on how we can handle things for now. Wish us some luck ...
