I'ts official. I just found one of my videos on YouTube. And naturally, it's the worst one I've ever made, my first one (I'd expected that much, as it uses one of the most popular anime series on the planet). Credit wasn't stolen, the girl even left my cruddy bumper at the end of it. I don't care too much. I'm flattered (I think) that she liked it enough to put up there.
Maybe one day I'll find a good video of mine on the 'Tube. Or maybe it'll get sued into oblivion. Either one is fine with me. -

My BF is mad because I won't let him be one of my critics when I send my vid out next week. But the guy knows I don't take compliments well, and I tend to blow them off as just being nice (it's one of the reasons I picked Craig as my third critic--we're not friends and barely talk, and I know that he'll be brutally honest, which is what I want). I'm not one of those people who's scared of bad reviews--I want this vid to be as good as possible, and I'll consider every piece of advice I get. Doesn't mean I'll use all of it, but I want to hear it just the same.
I'll also probalby have my own website by the end of the year. I have two options--Chris and Alex are planning to get their site SMUT (which has no smut, incidently) backup, and one of my GW guildmates has offered me a gig of his space. While I'd prefer to be in with friends, I don't trust Chris and Alex to keep the site running (they have a bad track record already) and I also don't know how much space and bandwidth they have. On the other hand, I don't want to impose on someone I barely know. We'll see what happens come fall though, I'm in no rush. - 2006-08-11 11:01:13 Finally filled the last hole in my vid. I'm STILL not sure I like it, but it's going out for critique early next week. I'm unlikely to scrap it completely, so expect it up on the org sometime in September, but.....I dunno. I do need to redo a couple things for sure though, most notably probably re-compressing my source as it has some black lines on the side that aren't that noticible, until you get to the pickture-in-picture effects I did. I'm still not sure those are a good idea either, but gah. I don't much care at this point. Then I can get started on something else. Maybe Kakurenbo. Though I'm still not sure what to do with the audio. I'm definately clipping it some, but I'm not sure how I should.
