  • 2006-09-07 14:24:17 I still don't want to go to class. Why am I suddenly reminded of high school?

    Bah. Anyways. Sore as hell after all moving stuff yesterday. I still haven't really eaten so I'm totally drained of energy. Chris appears to not be on campus yet, though he should be. Haven't tracked down Ran yet. Did talk to Dana at least. Jeff keeps trying to comfort me but it's not that helpful because he's in Nebraska. And i coudl so use a good backrub right about now.

    The weird thing is, when I'm drained like this I become totally wired. I can't relax. I suppose it's because if I did relax I might well turn into a quivering wreck on the floor on my room. And the number of stairs in this place does not help. Wheelchair accessible this place ain't. I'm on the top floor of my building, Chris is on the top floor of his, Ran probably the same (all the good rooms tend ot be top floor). Stairs to get in. stairs to get out. Stairs if I take the front door into the A&A to get to lunch. Stairs if I avoid the sun like a vampire and take the tunnels. There is an elevator in my building, but it only goes to the third floor (I'm on the forth) and is about as fast as walking. I only use it if I'm totally drained and/or I'm carrying something.

    However, I did manage to miss my first class :/ They really need to let upper years move into res a day earlier than they do. I moved in today (Wednesday), my first class was today (dammit) and most classes start tomorrow. C'mon, give us at least one day to rest before class!! And I have another one tonight.

  • Fangirls give me headaches. 2006-09-04 11:50:37 I got an e-mail this morning saying basically "I saw your AMV. I didn't know there was another Sailor Moon series called Sailor X. Where can I find it?"

    Where the hell did Sailor X come from?


    Of course, that's not as bad as my cousins 11-year-old daughter the other day. I mentioned that I had a bit of anime, including a full season of Sailor Moon. Then it occurred to me to ask, "Do you even know what Sailor Moon is?"

    "No."

    So I showed her my DVDs. "Oh, I have a costume like that, I just didn't know what it was from."



    I'm too young to feel old.

    I want my GitS to get here. The last ep I watched had a hell of an ending, now i need to see where the plot goes from here. Though I'll still be missing hte end of the series. But either way, this season is sitll better than the first season, which is saying a lot.

    But....bah. Need something to do. I wish WoW wasn't dead this time of day.
