I'm going back to school this year--we put in my room deposit for residence today.
Why am I not happy about this?
Now i have to pick out classes...blah, I hate this. I don't know why, but it always takes me forever to bother working out my schedule. This year honestly scares me a little. But i have just over a year left, so...
And I'll probably get out and wind up going back to school taking a more technical version of what I'm doing now.
Some days I want to go back to high school. Life was easier. -

*patpats cornwiggle* I feel your pain. I SO feel your pain.
Which is one reason I'm not putting up another vid until i get on high-speed again.
On that note, I got offered a room in residence again this year. But I'm not sure I want to go back to university this fall. For one, I'd like to be able to save up a little more cash--at the very least I'm buying a new video editor and new sneakers before summer gets out, if not clothes and anime too. And I'm also not even sure I want to finish this program anymore. I had a bad year last year, and honestly I'd probably jsut turn around and go to commnuity college right afterwards to take something more techinical. I'd rather fiddle with equipment than deal with interviews and sources and playing telephone tag for a week trying to get a meeting, only to have the person forget (yes, that's happened).
One the other hand I only have one year left, and if they let me after last year I'd like to finish what I started. But somehow, I can't see myself doing this anymore. -

I hope I manage to not screw this video up. - 2006-06-11 21:18:03 So, I just sorta beta-ed my own video to myself (I really can't get others to look at it easily, beyond my parents, and they don't care), and I'm still debating. I think it'll work out, though I need to adjust some of the fades a bit, they're a little too fast in places. I should also slow down a few clips, they're shorter than work well in some places. Squee, I love even having those options!

What a way to start the morning.
Before leaving for work, Mom told me to make sure I had my key, because Dad was gone to West Side and wouldn't be in there.
It never occured to me to ask what the alarm code was in case it was still turned on.
So I came in to work to hear the alarm going off.
