I knew you'd have a response for me :)
I'm not saying I didn't enjoy it--the storyline was fairly interesting, if completley buried until the third ep, and confusing until the fifth (not to mention badly presented the whole time). And the other series I had the same problem with, Sakura Diaries, also had its moments. "Well, it may not be the best university, but at least we're not in cram school. So where are you going?" *Points up at the sign of the cram school they're standing in front of* But I'm still dissappointed that Lemon didn't turn out to really be a boy.
And don't expect much for interesting AMVs out of it just yet, though if you happen to see a red and green dancing blob in one of my videos, you'll know where it came from :)
Anyways, I finally got my DVDs back from Cath today, which means I'm halfway to doing the short I want to do, now I just need to get my hands on the music. I also borrowed Kakurenbo from Shannon, so I can do a short AMV with that. I need to shorten the music though, as it's too long. I'll probalby take it down by about half, to a minute or so. She also gave me her Legend of Himoko screener, which we watched at KAMP and which I enjoyed. But dammit, now I have to track down the rest. I need to stop buying anime blind. I've done it twice (both times because the series were relatively cheap) and both times I wound up with naked chicks.
So Jeff and I were watching Knights of Ramune yesterday, and before the opening is even over I realise what I've gotten myself. "I honestly didn't know, I just knew it was cheap." "Yeah, I'd say it's cheap dear." -

Well, that was interesting. Decided to show Jeff my AMV collection, and started with the oldest of them from when I got into AMVs back in 2001. Wow. The video quality on a lot of those were CRAP. I never noticed just how bad they were until now.
I also showed him the work I have done so far on my current AMV, and he said it looks like it'll be my best yet. I dont' believe him of course, but it is encouraging. - 2006-07-03 08:10:24 BF is visiting from Nebraska. Expect me to come up for air again next week.
