It's occurred to me that while my anime addiction helps me connect with others, my AMV making makes me feel alone. No one I know makes AMVs, and I have no friends on the .org. As far as I'm concerned, other editors barely exist--they just all lie outside of my social circles. Granted, I'm still a relative newcomer to the .org. For all that I've been here since 2003, I've only been active since this spring.
I dunno. I'm just in one of my melancholy moods again I guess.
I may finally get to meet Alex though, Chris just told me they're hanging out together on Friday. Watch there be another storm.
And in other news--Motrin wore off >< *curls up into fetal position* I need chocolate...I SAID I NEED CHOCOLATE WHERE IS IT DAMMIT?! *retreats into bedroom* -

^&*%&^$*&^(^& why the hell does this have to happen to me? Dammit, sometimes I wish I didn't have a matched pair of chromosones. And of course since I was barely awake when I left for work (stupid thunderstorms) I forgot to take any $%&*%&ing Motrin. Dammit, I hope we still have some in the medcine cabinet here. Fortunately I don't go through that stuff fast. I hate pills though. I'd rather just curl up in bed and pretend this pain isn't here. But no, I've gotta work today.
I need a pillow I can hug. Or beat up. Whatever. I need a new pillow anyways.

Editing again (finally). Wow. I'm making myself cry--granted, death scenes tend to be emotional. But I'll take that as a good sign, since that's the aim of the video. The ending is turning out a bit different than I expected, but not much--just trying to cram about 5 minutes of episode into 30 seconds of song. Now I just need to fill a couple (large) black spots, and pull out my DVDs to find the exact wording of that quote.

Anyone ever look at the Sailor Moon boxset listings on Amazon? I was looking at Season 2 (for the hell of it, I know the damn thing's out of print, grrrr) and was looking at the goofs and quotes section. A couple gripes.
-Using the English translation. Which would be fine except that the listing is for the UNEDITED JAPANESE VERSION. Why the hell are you listing quotes from Lita when her name is Makoto?
-Lame quotes. "Mars fire ignite" is not worth mentioning, especially since she says it damn near every episode. And again, that's from the English version. Not that Sailor Moon is the most quote-worthy show, but it has its moments.
