- *sigh* 2005-04-11 17:29:37 Space Cowboy sadly did not make the winning vid for the Iron Chef. Oh well, I thought it was alright, and Themaan's vid was alright too. Either way it was a hard judge since we both pretty much used the same source and a few of the same scenes. Overall the contest was still fun, and work will be getting started on my next major AMV. Also I'd like to say Congratz to Themaan, winner of SEELE Council Spring 2005 Iron Chef of Doom.

Yep, I've been very busy with college this semester. Aside from college I have been participating in SEELE Council's Spring 2005 Iron Chef of Doom Competition and extensively working on my website. All of which seem to have gone well and are going well.
I have release 2 new videos which were my round 1 and round 3 videos from the Iron Chef, let me know what you guys think of em. Also my new website features much much more than it ever did. I now have a frequently updated journal on there along with a newly updated amv page and my forum. Yes a forum, dedicated to almost everything and anything you want to talk about. Feel free to check it out please I need members :P
Anyway, I'm going to be starting work on another big video this week w00t .... :) Been planning this one for the longest time now. I can finally do it because I got the animes delivered and I think I have some free time, but I'll have to see about that. College profs are known to throw out work like that, hopefully it won't happen, or at least not a whole lot. I know I only have 3 weeks left and then finals till spring break. Finally its almost over and next semester I get to move into my new apartment w00t .. no more cramped prison cell of a dorm room. Anyway check those vids out and check my site out. I'll get back to you all later on futher updates.

Been a while

Hey everyone, its definitly been a while since I put in a new entry in here. So let me see whats been going on.
For one college eats a ton of my time, next to that the past few weeks I've been trying to update my website and get it all nice and redesigned. Then guess what happens, of course, my host closed its doors and dropped all of its customers. GRRR. Anyway, now that I have a friend hosting my videos, I dont have to really worry about those going down. As for my website, I'm working on a new hosting plan and hope to get it up within the weekend. It was looking good too :(
On the next note my nights for the past three weeks have been spent on watching my christmas present from my brother, and what is that you may ask? Rurouni Kenshin the series, yes when I unwrapped those dvds my jaw hit the floor :) Along with that I also got RahXephon and the Kenshin OVA collection, just to make the set complete.
Another thing thats been going on, is I took up learning how to play the guitar, so that takes some time too. I know it was definitly a nice christmas to me. Im looking forward to being able to strum out some good songs, I'm not too bad right now, but I only know the chords. Still can't play scales : I'll get better as I practice.
In the AMV scene I'm planning a new video as soon as I finish watching all of Kenshin and the Ovas. So look forward to that. Also if you would be interested in beta testing it drop me a IM or an E-mail.
In June I'm looking forward to going to ColossalCon in Independance, Ohio. Would have liked to go to Ohayocon, but it was sorta timed bad for me, maybe next year. If you havent noticed I've been trying to become more active in the contests / community.
Well before I start rambling about other random stuff I'll cut the journal here.

Sorry guys I know my Direct links are down, no clue what my webhost is doing. They have been down for about a week and a half now, I'm looking around seeing if i can find anyone else. Also to add to the trouble I ended up gettin a bad head cold this past weekend, of course on my fall break, I'm still getting over it. So once all is better, there will be more progress, until then use the Local links.

Well I just got some great news, Hunted has just won "Best Action / Adventure" at Tsunami Studios '04 AMV Contest. Also Chihiro's Moment has just won "Best Overall Single" at Tsunami Studios '04 AMV Contest !!!!!
One of my first contests, the others I entered still have to be judged. Whooo, here's hoping. I won two banners from those two vids, since they are online amv contests. Working on gettin to a real convention sometime this year and possibly enter these vids.
