Anyhow.. we're (r.a.p.) gearing up for Otakon 2002.. and I'm going to be wokring on some new production IDs and stuff.. and will prolly MPG the exisiting ones. When I do get around to releasing them for download.. I will do it on my web-site. Since they don't really belong here on this site, where it's related to AMVs.. since the production ids/promos aren't really related.. they will only be availble on the (r.a.p.) web-site. -

So today I wake up.. to my alarm.. I snooze it.. and go back to sleep. Then second alarm goes off.. and I once again snooze it.. and then 10 minutes later (still partially awake).. the power goes out. Then I here beeping.. apparently the UPS on my server is going off.. on the OTHER SIDE of the house.. in the basement.. and I can hear it on the other side in the corner of my bedroom.
So I give in.. get up.. and I go into the shower (with the power still out), brush my teeth.. and ouch.. a cavitiy filling falls out. *ugh* I swear this is feeling like end of the world. =( ..and the server is offline even if the UPS isn't.. not a good day.. =/ not a good day.
As soon as I can get ahold of my roommate.. maybe the server will come back online. - Quick.. It's a bird! No it's a plane! Noo its a QuickPoll! 2001-12-15 15:50:10 I added (retro-fitted) a webapp I built (QuickPoll) for my web site. I'm going to run a poll once and a while. If the QuickPoll is popular enough I'll run one of these a week.

I'm in awe of your abilty to draw.. and my lack of it. That was very cool.. I'd luv to see more.. if you got the links lying around..
It kinda of reminds me a painter on my mac.. long ago.. in the day's of the PowerPC 601's... Fractal Painter or something like that.. had the same kind of feature.. You could record the actions.. and then play it back later. Cool stuff. -

Okay so I'm not going to say who or what.. but let's just say when I don't have a small/local ISP not paying their billings cutting off my inet-access because of their incompetance and cheapness.. I have a someone else doing it.. because their leeching bandwidth is not wide enuff. So when outages occur.. it's not the server.. somebody specific keeps unplugging my router.
Once I finally move the site and all contents to a co-located server.. the speed will jump-up significantly and their should be little to NO inet-access interruptions. I'm going to go in (half) on the co-location costs with somebody. They're going to build/buy the rackable 1U server.. and I'll pay half the costs of the co-locate. If we build the server.. then I might provide parts as well. Anyhow.. if you're mad or pissed about the interruptions.. it's not the server. As soon as the 1U server is built.. all will be good! =) me hopes =D
