- More fixed links.. 2002-03-11 00:07:00 Okay either... I'm a shm@#k and never updated those links.. or something got rolled back during the db transfer of this site. Either way.. the problem is fixed now.. If I didn't really switch the links over.. then it seems wierd to me.. I've been getting as much traffic alone to the server, without the additional support traffic from here. Well anyways.. all the links have been checked and adjusted to the new co-location server. Let me know if the DL speeds are bad and/or still having problems linking up fromt this site. Okay now it's time for sleep! *yawn* -Dji
- Fixed links.. 2002-03-10 23:58:35 So apparently.. there was a problem with the download links to my VPM music.. they were still pointing to my old development server (which has since, been rebuilt). Anyhow.. they're fixed now.. and is pointing to the super-fast co-location server. Let me know if any of you are still having problems.

I finally built my new system. My new video workstation is sporting dual Athlon 1800+ MPs, with 1GB of ram, and about 120GBs of drive space.. 80GBs for the OS and temp/scratch ATA-100, and a 40GB Ultra2160 LVD 10k rpm drive. Dual-Head Millenium 450, and a 3rd All-In-Wonder 128 Pro card.. and lots more. I took the reusuable parts from my old system, and assmebled with the new systems hardware (mobo, mem, new 40gb hd) and etc.
Next on the agenda (in a few months; like 6) is to add ATA-100 EIDE RAID card.. with about 4 - 100GB drives.. so I can work on larger projects. After that, the next level of things would be to get a realtime card.. like the Mirco DC2000 or the Canopus DV Raptor I've been looking at.. anyhow.. I have the new system put together finally.. and the next activity to put my file server, and the mail server back together.
Anyhow.. I'd thought I'd keep some of you up-to-date on what's been going on. Back to my AMV project.. and to get some sleep.. Ja! G'Night y'all. <tab>-Dji -

I just finished the bulk of editing on a short film. A friend of my roommate's (from this church) needed some help in editing a short film. So last night we took about an hours work of cam footage and I edited into about 8-minutes worth.
The story is.. this guy "Dave" is on his way to restaurant.. and he's picking up people. During the drive to the restaurant, "Dave" shares the dreams he's had about each person picked up. It's very "kitsch" and they mocked the whole filming process.. by purposely letting the mic-booms and people fimling get into the shots. The film is intended to be shown at the church as some point in the near future. Anyhow.. I took random pieces and made something out of it in about 5-hours.. including post-production work.
I'm glad the bulk of it is done.. me tired.. was up to 2:30am-ish last night/this morn. Okay, back to work. =. =O =o =)
