Okay.. so this is how it transpired..

So getting the latest AMV to render glitch free took some doing.. since I normally don't rebuild my pc often and don't change the export settings.. I normally don't have to go through this activity.
So about a month ago (a little more than that) I rebuilt a new PC with dual processors.. and they work great for video.. most of the time except when it's rendering. When it renders the video out it glitchs once an a while.. and I think that has lot to do with it switching processors back and forth. The biggest problem here.. is I really need to buy some registered ram.. until I do that.. what I did.. to correct this problem is 2 things.. first.. when rendering "exporting" out the final file.. I eventually realized I needed to turn "recompress" off.. once I did that ..a very large portion of the problems went away. For playback to tape... I set the processor affinity for one processor on premiere.. and the other processor for explorer.
But it took me some time forcing premiere to re-render certain parts of the video to work out all the glitches. Anyhow.. s'all is good and it's finally on tape to be sent in for the Otakon 2002 contest.
Now as far as the compressed-"donwloadable"-video files go.. for some reason all of them come out terriable. I have uploaded the first set of file up to the website for download (to those who have VIP access on the website). Eventually once I figure out how to make a good set of .mpg (1 and 2) and so files.. I've had nothing but itchy-bitchy problems with my computer since I re-built it.. so I can understand the pain and frustration you're going through. The last couple days I've been plagued with VCC problems (delaying it's release).

Well thanks to hours of rendering and re-rendering.. my latest AMV is complete! Hopefully by the time I get home today.. I'll have a glitch-free video file to make MPGs and stuff from.
I had lot's of little glitches last night after the render which is why I kept having to re-render.. and then I finally found the one little thing that was causing the capture card to freak. So now that's fixed.. I should be able to make (crossing fingers and toes) a good (exported) video file.
Anyhow, it will be online soon (depending on the speed of things).
