  • Only your barber will know! 2002-08-28 12:50:30 Hsien: Yeah.. since the facelift on the site.. it seems the Forums have lost some of their appeal. Spam or no spam.. maybe it's just me.. but I would agree.

    Gambitt: I know what you mean with effects. I haven't done any rotoscoping.. but I always create/make very subtitle adjusts or effects.
    I also tend to recut scenes to shorten or lengthen the timings.. and no one ever knows or picks up on it.. I also sometimes modify the soundtracks too. Having people not noticing what I've done is not what bugs me.. besides if I've "done the job right" know one should notice. But, what bugs me.. is I think more people would appreciate the effort I put in, if they knew what I've done... and I know that's overlooked a lot with my videos. =/ This is always been the case with me.. my lesser quality vids are always appreciated more.. I could never figure this out.. = Especially in my most recent AMV... there's a last one basic scene (for the most avid of Lain fans should know) that's not right. 
  • My Website was offline... 2002-08-26 12:41:52 The person I share the collaction server with, run a utility that changed some permission settings to the server.. which caused the a database problem. Anyhow.. I fixed it this morning.. so the site is back-online again. Sorry for the inconvience. Gomen. =)

    Umm.. yeah.. So I'm told the showing (or I should say showings) at AFO3 went well.. and I'm glad to hear that. I plan on making them a regular in the yearly con-rounds. So as long as they want a 2-hr (or more) tape, you can expect something every year for AFO. At least those who can't make Otakon, will have a chance to see something new by us.. (if they make it to AnimeUSA and/or AFO). I'm hoping to add AWA to the list of convention-rounds. I have at least one more (if not two more).. but I don't want to mention anything until I know everythings final.

I've not dup anything that massive.. but I know the deal.. with all of that.. it's like some curse.. You always have to watch the tape.. because the one time you don't and have confidence in everything.. something will futz-up. =(

    Someone above is always making trouble and things challenging for me. So I understand the pain and lack of sleep you're prolly going through. =D

    But keep in mind.. we have to all watch the tapes and vote.. so there's going to lack of sleep for some of us too. =) (but not is nearly is much)

    I you can make it to page 2.. there's some really cool pictures.. I'm not big on the side windows in PC cases.. but this one looks kinda cool.
