  • 2002-10-18 12:10:06 Jared: well okay cubase.. I can understand.. but I guess for me in comparison.. audio related stuff (for me) has always been the least processor intensive work on my computer. But I guess that's just me.. besides.. RAM is cheap now-a-days.. you could just buy lot's more RAM for your old system.
  • Yamato 2520.. checked... 2002-10-18 10:53:03 I downloaded the yamato 2520 mpeg-1 file and it looks fine, plays fine and downloads fine.. so there's no problems in respect to the VPM mpeg-1 file that was reported to me earlier. So all is good here.. I just wanted to update you all.

Oh.. and if any of you live in the Philadelphia area.. I just pre-launched a site for a friend of mine, who has a band called: 58ROCKWELL. Anyhow they have a gig in Warminster this weekend.. go see them! http://www.58rockwell.com

Okay no more shameless plugs for today. =D
  • Yamato 2520 2002-10-18 09:58:02 To better standardize the download-able files for my AMVs and video projects, I've been MPEG-1'n my video projects. So todays new MPEG-1 is Yamato 2520. Enjoy. I'll check it to see if it has the same problem the VPM file does.
  • 2002-10-18 09:50:43 Apparently there is a problem with the VPM MPEG-1 I created.. it cuts off at 4mins 20secs.. when I made the file.. it was late and I didn't have to watch it all the way through. But I don't suspect the file, I suspect the upload did not complete. Anyhow, when I get home.. I'll look at this and put up a corrected file. So this is just and FYI to you all.
  • 2002-10-17 11:29:27 Jared: It's a simple decision.. audio stuff never takes much processing power.. so old-and-busted should go to your audio purposes, and the new-hottness should go to your slammy-jammy video editing work. =) That's what I'd do.. =D ..hehe slammy-jammy.. =]
