AMV fiasco has repercussions

Yestday, not too long after i made that previous Journal entry, i received a call from one of "The Three" - Translated in english it means: One of my local Admins. Yup, shortly after i noticed the post he made on 4everlost, which prompted me to remove the link to my AMV in any case (evethough they had already stopped it from their side), i got a call from him. And guess what was the first thought that came to mind when i checked the caller ID;
"Uh-Oh!"
If i didn't know any better, i would probably never have answered it. But i can't do that... Anyhow, we had a little chat etc. Quite interesting... Well, at least we actually had a conversation!
In case you were wondering, i am probably making him sound far more like a tyrant than he actually is. So no, i don't think he'll be showing up at my house and peeing on my porch before strangling me with the toaster's power cord and sucking me dry of any fluids using the vacume cleaner.
Well, yeah. He remained calm & civilized. Friendly all the way. Even found it amusing. So ya, i guess i should say thanks to him (and the two other Admins), but most of all...

Well, that's what you get for announcing your AMV on AMVs.org without asking if it's OK with the admins (of my home page where the video is hosted) to do so. Gods, i can be so *stupid* sometimes!
Although i didn't pull over or crash our server (bless that piece of machinery), i did however cause it to slow down too much for comfort: The site was no longer performing satisfactory. As a result they have 'removed' my AMV. Now it seems that, when authentication is in place, it will only be accessible to regular members of our site. I am really sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.
But on the other hand, i never really expected my AMV to attract this much traffic (it is *way* more than what i imagined)... It's all your fault! ::Sobs::
Dangit, well, thanks goes out to the people who downloaded it (it was fun while it lasted) and slowed down our site! :p -
