Does AMV editors dream of editing sheep?

Close but no cigar. I did have an AMV-related dream last night though, which is a good sign of going in too far. It consisted of 2 parts.
In the first part I was a quest/panelist (narsistic ass) in a big anime con. We were talking about our AMVs (of course) and I was going on about the usual how I don't believe it's all about visual quality and that I don't care that much if my AMVs doesn't reach the top quality because I'm not always using lossless DVD rips and stuff. But then in my dream I mentioned that one thing I'd want to see better in AMVs is the sound quality to be more like what we hear in movie theaters. You know, the surround system that blows your ear drums. Go figure.
Second part was a bitch. It was one of those dreams that overlap with reality. I sleep in another room than where my computer is. I dreamed that I was about to wake and get up (you'd be surprised if you'd knew how much I dream about sleeping). I heard that I had forgotten winamp on and it was playing a random song. I layed on my bed listening to the song and it hit me that it would fit extremely well with Utena movie. In fact it would be almost perfect combination (..and before you ask, even though I even might remember the name of the song/artist, it doesn't exist in real life. This is why overlapping dreams are annoying.) to create visually, both video and audio, awesome drama AMV. I got up (still in my dream) and went to my computer and noticed in my horror that the song was over 17minutes long. That would require some heavy audio cutting/editing I thought and my mind was already going full steam about how the AMV should/would look like.
Then I woke up and noticed that all I have is these semi-crappy AMV concepts that I need to work on in this damned real life..
..I hate overlapping dreams. - Just something that needs to be pointed out... 2005-08-20 02:36:21 People at #AMV are nutcases. All of them.

kitsunebeolnet, I have an opinion coming your way. I just owe a lot of other people opinions too (Poetic_Kaos, if you read this, you are the first one on my list) so it WILL take a while ;) -
MEPs lead to the dark side

It seems I tend to stuck my nose into a lot of MEPs these days. First I made large amount of horrible quickies for AMV Hell. Then it was the Nigthwish MEP in which I ended up making the audio mix and one of the tracks (and got close to making two tracks). Now I'm dangerously involved in this long classical piece MEP SJenova is cooking up.
Damn MEPs eat up my precious (and nowadays somewhat limited) free-time. I wanna get my own projects done too ;(
..oh yeah. One of those project ideas I have is also a MEP.
Bugger...
