Cripes, having all this time with nothing to fill it has led to a really weird sleeping schedule. I was asleep today from 7AM until about 10PM, with a couple of wake-ups in between. Geez, I need to stop doing that @_@ Because of this, I don't plan on going back to sleep until sometime later Sunday. Yargh.
Got my site up to snuff, but I may go back sometime and use Dreamweaver and make it pretty. Right now it's functional, and I'm rather proud of it, since I did it all by hand, but I want it to look nicer.
Oh yeah, Jeff found a 120GB drive on a forum that is exactly what I've been wanting. I contacted the guy, got the price ($135, which includes shipping, for a drive still shrink-wrapped in the box with a 3-year warranty). Pretty nice. So I sent him the money yesterday via Paypal, and then I get an email saying that since he didn't hear back from me, and some other guy was willing to pay, he already sold the drive. However, on Paypal, my name shows up as evil_genius_39, like on here. But I was using my main email account, which shows up as jwcounts. So, according to Paypal, the transaction is complete, but I haven't heard back from the guy. I think I sent the last email to his work address or something. I hope it was a snafu or something, and I'm still getting the drive. I dunno. Even if he did sell the drive to someone else, he was nice enough to send me a link to another of the same drive being sold for 5 dollars less. Oh well, time to study for Japanese. Fun.

YAY!! I finally got my site up to snuff. I took off the Friends page (two reasons: a.)I doubt anyone outside of my group even cares, and b.)it would have been a bitch to create). I still like everyone on there, but that page just isn't very pertinent to the rest of the site. Anyhow, the only reason I got it done now is because I was working on my Web Technologies project, which involved writing a five-page website by hand in Notepad. I finished that in a few hours (surprisingly), and thought, "what the hell? Why not turn my new found html 1337ness towards my site.?" I was able to swap bits and pieces from both sites, and mix and match. It was kinda fun. Well, I guess I should get some sleep sometime today. I slept 4AM til about 6PM yesterday, so that threw me off something fierce for today. I might take a nap pretty soon here and just let the day ride off of that. I have a final tomorrow to study for, but it's in Astronomy, so no big whoop there.
Oh yeah, picked up the new Austin Powers DVD a day or two ago. I still think it's the best one so far. Anyhow, about that sleep I mentioned earlier. Time for that. Yeah.

Okay, a few things to add. First, the title of my last entry should have been "You have to know how far you can go with going too far". Still a good quote.
The 120GB drive I mentioned the other day? I looked again, and it is now gone. Just up and disappeared. So no new drive for me :-( I still need to talk to Meredith's brother to see what he can find. He works for this hardware website, so he has authorization to buy stuff for wholesale. I think that will be my best option, and it is still open (thankfully).
Anything else?? Hmmm....I don't know why I'm even going to say this, but if anyone is interested in the script I wrote, email me and I'll send you a copy. I'll warn you, I don't think it's very good (then again, I don't like just about anything I write), but you may like it. Give it a shot. (Read my last post for more info on the content. Also, note that this is a work in progress, and how much more progress will be made on it is questionable -_-) I still don't even know why I'm bringing it up, but oh well. It's been said. Yay!! My film script is done! It's crap, but it's done. I borrowed a bit of some of my friends' personalities, a few points from Read or Die, a dash of James Bond, a little Mel Brooks, and some postmodern humor (characters joking about how bad the writing is, "watching" the other scenes, etc.) all rolled into about 27 pages. Yeah. I didn't sleep from 8:30 AM Wednesday, until about 3:30 PM today. I got a few hours in, but man am I still tired. Anyhow, my Film Writing class is done. w00t! And I did well on my Astronomy test today, considering that I studied all of 20 minutes for it before class. One more to go in that class. It's pretty much downhill from here on out. I've got a take home test and a small website to compose for Web Technologies (about what? You're guess is as good as mine ^_^;;), a final in Japanese, a final in Astronomy, and I need to put the finishing touches on my Director project for Multimedia Production. The website is my biggest worry, but that shouldn't be too bad. Anyhow, enough out of me. Back to killing time before bed. Later.

God, about the only way I can describe the weather down in Houston is this: you know when you step in a puddle, and your shoe soaks up some water, and you end up with wet socks the rest of the day. Yeah, kinda like that. It's just nasty.
More writing on the script. Blargh.
Shiina Ringo is damn cool. I've been listening to her quite a bit lately, and she's got some quirky videos (if you get a chance, check out Honnou and Koufukuron). Ringo=apple in Japanese. Shiina is a big fan of Fiona Apple. Thus the name Shiina Ringo. Hooray for useless trivia ^__^
Oh yeah, and I think I've found the hard drive I've been looking for. 120GB, 8 MB cache, and only $120. Now to get an IDE controller for it, and to wait for Christmas, since I told my parents that that is what I want for Christmas ^_^ I promise I'll act surprised, honest >:-) Not bad for a day's work. Anyhow, back to playing Super Mario 64 (I didn't realize what a fun game that is. Who knew ^_^).
