Once I get that drive back from Josh (who is installing Linux on one half, and leaving half for Windows), I can talk to a friend from the campus anime club, who is willing to let me borrow his Furi Kuri DVDs. He also has a copy of the CB movie, so I need to get a copy of that too. Fun, fun. Well, I need to study for a Japanese test (I watch enough of the shows, so why not learn the language?) and a couple of other things I have to do.
- Wow, it can't be 4 AM yet!! 2001-11-08 05:02:58 Yeah, it's a bit late to be writing one of these journals, but I just finished writing a Poli Sci paper over factions and popular excess, so I need something to refresh my mind and bring it back from the muck it has become. Since I know have no more papers due for about 5 or 6 days, I can do all of the things I've been wanting to do to this machine for quite some time now (see earlier journals for notes on that, I don't feel like explaining now). I can finally work on that CB vid that I've had on my mind for a while (hell, I can work on A video now, that's the best part). That and Jeff is going to have his media archive up and running soon. I'm contributing my mp3 collection to this archive, and about 5 or 6 other collections are being merged into one uber-media server. It's gonna be so cool. And since I won't have all of those mp3s taking up that 10 gigs or so of space (what can I say, I like music), that will be all the more space for captured video. YAY, I'm so excited. Anyway, it's damn late, and I've got an 8:30 class to attempt to attend. Toodles.

Ok, this is the sceond time I'm having to write this journal entry, since the site decided to boot me when I was trying upload it last time. Anyhow, a quick note. EK from Big Big Truck Productions, if you are reading this, I was one of the 3 or 4 people who downloaded the "Stupid Stupid Stupid" video from you, and I thought it was pretty damn funny, especially with Jet and the "don't let the front door hit you when you're.......stupid". Brak is cool.

Damn, that's a cool song. I looked at my download count, and then my opinion count. I can't even make the underrated list yet, since a.) I don't have enough downloads, and b.) I still have YET TO GET AN OPINION!! Sure, I don't leave them as much as I should, but I have yet to hear from anyone. Well, except for 2 people who contacted me, but that was because the file got screwed up during the download, so I'm not going to count them. Besides, they emailed me directly, so in this case, they don't count, so there :-p
Anyhow, I should get that other hard drive from Jeff sometime within the next 2 days or so, and then I can make another video. YAY!! I'm so happy. That, and I may get a new capture card for Christmas, since my ATI one sucks (Yes, I find this out after I buy it). This might turn out to be a fun time after all. -

Yeah, Cowboy Bebop: Knockin' on Heaven's Door is a bad ass movie. And the soundtracks are damn cool. I'm sitting at my desk, listening to "Clutch" (like "Rush" from CB OST 1, but on speed) and wondering exactly how my life got so boring. I can't even make anything else to put on this site yet. My roommate Dathan is in Chicago, my other roommate Jeff is on his way to Dallas to pick up some super-cheap computer parts, and my friend Meredith is out salsa dancing with her roommates and her gay neighbor. And here I sit, writing a journal on amv.org. I need more stuff to do. I need a girlfriend or something. But I guess I should go out and do stuff to try to find one instead of sitting here writing journals about it. Damn, a full circle back to nowhere. Wow, I suck. Yeah, nothing helps a shitty mood like a pointless circular debate with oneself. This blows.
Anyhow, on a lighter note, I visited EK's website recently, and I recommend it for everyone to see at least once. She's got some kick-ass shit on there. Quite a talented artist. Just thought I would make a plug there when I had the chance.
