Moved back into the dorms today. I'm worn out. Some time in the next few days or so, I'm going to update my site, and add the new video. Oh yeah, did I mention I finally redid that Tenchi video?? Looks right purdy (that's "pretty" for those of you who don't live in the south ^_^). I might do it tomorrow, but first I have to finish unpacking, and then find a place to buy a new lug wrench, and a place that can repair the tire I blew coming back from picking up my roommate from the airport. Must've hit a nail when I went through the construction zone. Crap. That puts a dent in things. Oh well, whatever. I'm really tired. Later.

Holy frickin' hell on a stick, things are looking up. I finally got that 120GB drive, got it put into my machine, and started ripping DVDs (I stopped at 7 for the time being). And I still have 75GB open. Yow!! Now, the only problem I have to get around is where I put my Premiere CD (I think my sister still has it. Grrr..). Apparently, when I put in this drive, my first attempt ended up with a second copy of Windows 2000 being made on the new drive, which is no good. So, after I got the drive working, I thought I should do a system repair to fix the "Computer still thinks I have two copies of the same OS installed" problem, which ended up screwing more things up than it fixed. So, I've spent the last few hours reformatting and reinstalling everything, which has worked out fairly well, since the Hardware DVD acceleration on my video card has started working again ^_^ I've got all of the pieces, now all I have to do is put Premiere back on and I'm in business. What to do first @_@ I've got good source video to redo both of my previous videos, so I think I will start there. Yippee! And since I don't have a job until school kicks in again in mid-January, I've got some time.
Hooboy, I am tired. My eyes are all droopy from sitting at the computer for the few hours. Time for some sleep. Night all.

Why didn't anyone tell me that Paypal puts a hold on refunded money? That really screwed the pooch on a lot of things. Since that hold was placed, I didn't have enough money in my account to cover the transfer I did to the other guy I was buying a hard drive off of. I assumed the money that was refunded was put back in my account, and I could use it again. Not so. So I get stuck with a nice little overdraft fee of $20 (which my parents will pick up half, since they had been meaning to deposit a check to cover the cost of the drive since last Friday, which would have cleared all of this up). Yippee @_@ But, I am still getting the drive, and the transfer will be reattempted in a day or two. And I've already got ideas lined up for when I get the drive. YAY! *does happy dance*
Well, I am back at home now, and I finally got my room put back together (computer, stereo, TV, etc.). No internet access on my computer, but whatever. I can play a bunch of games now, since I won't have downloads going in the background to slow things down. Besides, since I'm not getting a job over the break, I'm not going to have a whole helluva lot to do. Anyhow, I need to stop tying up the phone lines here. Later all.

Grrr. So it wasn't a snafu, he actually sold the drive to someone else. Shit. At least I find this out when he refunded my money. Oh well, time to check out that other drive. Fun.
