Ha ha, my triumphant return to journal writing after my long dry spell (yeah, right, three days. I'm so full of shit) Went back to campus to run some errands and sell back some books (they took back two of them and gave me, I shit you not, $9.50 for them). Luckily I didn't pay all that much for them, probably about $10-15 apiece for them originally, but still, it's the principle of the thing. I also got an email from my frined Meredith (I know I have mentioned her before at some time or another) telling me about the hell she is currently going through due to an email she sent that got blown way out of proportion. Apparently, a girl got into the National Honor Society at her high school who has done things in the past that other people have been denied membership in this group for doing. However, Meredith's comments on the system at her school were misconstrued as a personal attack on this girl. There is the possibility that Meredith could get sued for slander and have to drop out of UH and go to work trying to fund this other girl's college education, and it is just a generally bad situation. If the law suit thing happens, I might have to come back on here and start up a collection for legal fees ;-p I told her she could come hide out at my house (which is a good 2 hour drive or so from hers), but nooo, she had to go back and face the music. This sucks.
Anyhow, now back to me.

I'm so happy today. I have nothing to do. And in a good way. I can finally busy myself with all of those trivial, silly little things I've been wanting to do, but take too long. Or just sit on my ass and play games or watch movies or something. I can't wait until Christmas to see if I'm going to get that DC10+, but I was talking to a friend after my Japanese final who has one, but can't use it. She said that it had some conflicts with her processor, which is an Athlon 36 (?), which I have never heard of. She tried the card out in another computer and it worked just fine, so I dunno. She offered it to me for $20, and I'm tempted to take her up on it. However, money is a bit tight right at the moment, so I think I'll just wait and see if I can get a brand new one. ^_^ I have several video ideas (and I do mean, SEVERAL) sitting around, and I need to work on one of them. I guess I could work on that Tenchi Forever/Dido video that I started a while ago, but I need to be in a funk to work on that one effectively. I need something fun and energetic to work on. Anyhow, I should be going. My friend Ashley is having a party at her apartment tonight and she wants me and my suitemates to come. I need to get some food sometime soon, also. Sooooooo, there you go. WHOOO HOOOOO!!! Today is a good day. I got my poli sci final finished about 10 this morning, and it is turned in. I no longer have anything to do for that class. All I have is a Japanese final, which shouldn't be too hard, and then I am done with school for over a month. I haven't slept since about 6:30 PM last night, but who cares. I guess I should study for that final tomorrow. Damn, there's always something. I'm finaaly getting my computer switched over to a Linux/Windows dual boot system. This should prove to be interesting. I can't wait until Christmas, so I can work on another video (or three, whatever). God, with the incoherentness of the being and the bad. I am tired. I might go to sleep, butr I kinda want to get my sleeping schedule under control again. No more of this "go to bed at 11 AM, wake up at 7 PM" shit. It's all fine and dandy now, but I can't screw with my days like this. That, and I have to go back to work over the break to make some money with which to pay off this computer that I am typing from right now (credit cards are a good thing, right?) Oh well, back to the wah-likeness that is my current state of mind. Gobbldy-gook. That's a good word for it. I should leave.
