  • New AMV 2011-09-18 21:17:48 I am working on a new AMV.

    I am a huge Hollywood Undead fan and I really like one of the new songs call "Die" its about not wanting to die and it works so perfectly with Gundam Wing. I am so pumped.

    Sadly I am making a new computer that can handle building them so I am currently stuck waiting for a replacement mother board because the one we got was defective, but it will be up soon... 
  • New website 2010-09-08 15:35:00 I am going to be building a website that is dedicated to my Production company. I am really excited about it!

    I have a lot of programming involved.

    Once it is up I will post a link!

    Besides that, and school starting yesterday life is going really good. Save for the fact that last night my hot water heater blew up....

    I am working on buying a new program for editing. Does anyone want to give me some suggestions?  
  • Sad day.... 2010-08-28 02:47:56 My best friend, is my 4 and 1/2 year old dog. He is wonderful! He is overly smart to the point where he can learn a new trick, (or something I rather he didn't learn....) in about two times of showing him. His favorite activity is to swim. You take him anywhere near water and he will find a way to get to it. He also loves to dive. Literally, he will be in 6ft deep water and go underneath the water with only his tail sticking up out of the water. He can hold his breath for almost a minute (I timed it).

    He is everything to me. Today I just found out he has early onset hip displashia. For the rest of his life he will have to be on medication because his hip joints are bone rubbing on bone causing his bones to erode.

    He loves to swim, run, play fetch, jump to get frisbees, all of it. The doctor said that given he is half lab and half golden she was expecting a rather large (heavy set) dog but he is very slender and small and that is what is going to help him in the long run. She said him being very small is great for his hips and not to stop letting him do all the activities he loves....

    I just hope the medication makes him able to feel better. Right now, he hates getting up from a laying down position because his hips hurt so bad. :(

    All we can do is hope for the best!  
  • Newest AMV 2010-08-27 13:23:47 I am currently working on an FMA AMV.

    Full Metal Alchemist was one of my favorite animes since it came out. Sadly I was never able to actually finish it until about a week ago. :(

    It was a strange end. I am finishing up BrotherHood. I actually find the very small number of shows and the fast pace a nice change.

    I am having a hard time picking between Brotherhood and the original FMA.

    Brotherhood:

    Pros:

    - Only 26 episodes
    - A lot less non-interesting scenes I have to filter through
    - Sticks to the original Manga
    - Original Characters from the Mange that were not in the original Anime version

    Cons:

    - It is only 26 episodes
    - Less scenes in general to choose from
    - Some interesting episodes from the original are not in this one.

    FMA - Original Anime

    Pros

    - It is 51 episodes
    - It has a lot of scenes to choose from
    - It has stories and side plots never in the mange or Brotherhood
    - It has interesting characters the others did not have

    Cons

    - It is 51 episodes
    - There are a lot of extra scenes unnecessary to the plot of the story
    - It does not stick to the Manga.

    I guess I could do both but I am not sure if that would be a good idea considering the two stories though very much alike are vastly different and mixing the two might not be the best way to portray the AMV....

    Any suggestions? 
  • New member to the world of AMV 2010-08-26 16:40:22 I have never realized how into AMVs people are until now. This is an amazing website and I am very excited to be apart of this world. I have been making AMVs for about two years. My first one was to Card Captor Sakura using TOOL. It was erased when my computer crashed so I was never able to actually upload it to anywhere.

    However, that was only the start. I have since created a couple of more that I will be adding. I have made a fun one for my ex-Boss who loved Bass Hunter. I used Lain as it just seemed really perfect for the song.

    I have done a Hellsing AMV to Lacuna Coil. I have also done a DN Angel AMV to Nightwish however it was taken off of YouTube and was also one of the AMVs I lost when my old computer crashed.

    I have also moved on to better programs. Let me tell you Magix is not a very good program to use. I started with it but now I am working with Roxio. So far so good.

    I am all about feedback and so forth. So the harshest stuff you can give me please do! I would love to know what I can do to make my stuff better.

    I will be adding my AMV called "We Are Young" using Hollywood Undead to Gundam Seed Destiny. I entered it into the 2010 Otakon AMV contest. Sadly it was not a finalist but after watching the contests I could see why. I plan to make it better but I need feedback on it! So let me know what you think!
