- Dr. Hammond, the phones are working... 2001-11-20 21:58:32 Only true geeks will appreciate this, but I got database replication working. This is very cool!! The master server (my desk machine) is replicating to a slave server (the web server (this machine)). This means there is now a live backup of the entire database. This rocks the world!! <silly geek giggle> ^_^
- Power Outages Suck 2001-11-05 18:09:29 With the power going out at the office for most of the day and the .org server being down, a strange vibe came over me. I became jumpy and edgey and had this big feeling of dread. Strange. I feel like I have a bunch of people depending on me (personally) and I don't want to let them down. I'll feel more at ease when the server can get moved over to a real locaction facility and have nice clean, uninterupted power for ever and ever...
