Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Sweeter than a half pound of Skittles! [Colorful Memories]

Sorry for the delay people (<- that's AtomX and Reigna)! Had my Internet down for a few days and been quite busy (even though that's not an excuse for delaying it more than a month).

Hope you'll enjoy this one, even though the announcement poster is a bit misleading and it's a bit on the short side (but still, I worked more than 1 hour for every second in this AMV). More info at http://www.leiseus.net/colorfulmemories/ (at this moment only a text file, but later tonight it's fully in HTML).

Oh, thanks Kit for announcement title!

small edit: Oh one last thing - if you like the masking and enough people would like a tutorial then I can make one someday...

Nice job. I'd say something more but I just started to doze off before you posted this thread, so i'm-a-go back to dozing.

A beautiful little video actually. I liked the friendship idea.

The only thing that bothers me is the "for free" text. It's exatly what you expect to see in spam and it slightly shatters the ending.

Yay you finally released it! This video grows on me every time I watch it. The editing is very stylish and smooth, and it's awesome how you can create such a beautiful atmosphere in such a short amount of time. Great video, Douggie, I <3 it. :)

Hey Jannis, thanks for watching! Unfortunately I'm not that good in effects, so this was still in the "simple" category...

Thanks, but making it longer would really kill me! Rotoscoping is reeeaaaaly tedious work!

Thanks! I feel that there isn't too many vids (or songs or movies) about friendship, while it's still a very important part in life.

As for the "for free", it's more of a joke as in "buy one, get one free" - meaning that good memories come with good friendship automatically, so you don't even have try! Too bad it doesn't falls right like I wanted!

Yeah I finally released it! Thanks for watching and glad you liked it! Creating the atmosphere was my no.1 priority in this vid, so glad to hear I succeeded!

There's not much in terms of "editing" as there are only 6 scenes so 5 cuts only! (more in effects though)
