20:44 <godix> I learned long ago if you're going to be lazy and do crappy effects then hope the idea saves the video it has to be fucking short. Like a minute long type short. Hell, even a second isn't too short for some ideas.

20:46 <godix> I liked the last scene. Especially the way that scene faded out AND THERE WAS NO MORE OF THIS CRAP AFTER IT!

20:48 <godix> I don't know, there was no compositing that actually made me think 'that looks like a scene from an actual anime'. Every single interaction was obviously artifical and usually poorly done.
20:48 <quadir> I mostly see masked character "physical" interaction in action mashups... but it almost always fails HARD there
20:49 <godix> Although part of his problem is that WHR is more crisp than hellsing so that right there makes it obvious it's an edit. Plus WHR uses far more muted colors.

20:51 <godix> Do something like add a touch of noise then a slight blur tends to make the different sources look like they belong since both have the same quality. It also makes the footage look noisy and blurry.

21:04 <godix> To be honest this video looks like something I did once. A lot of ideas and a scattershot 'i have no idea what I'm doing' approach to them. The thing is, it was my SECOND video ever while this guy has 111 videos.

21:07 <godix> Yes. I've always held the idea that if a video is enjoyable I don't really care if the video quality/effects/etc are crap. However this one is a decent one minute video that happens to be nearly 3 minutes long.
