Does It Suck? (1:1 Op Exchange Thru Thursday)

Hey Everyone,

Okay, it's like this. About two weeks ago I put up my new AMV. It's only the second one I made since I joined the .org (the others in my profile were made long before I joined) and I wanted it to be good. It was doing well for a while and I got two excellent opinions on it, but then just today I got another opinion that basically had NOTHING good to say about the video.

This devestated me because I really put a lot of time and thought into this one. So my question to you is "Does it REALLY suck that bad?". And if so, how can I make the next one better (or should I just give up on making AMVs)?

Here's how I'll do this: This is a 1:1 op exchange. It'll go until midnight on Thursday this week (12-14-06). I'll try and finish up the remaining ops on Friday (though it may take longer). After that point, I'll be way too busy to do anymore. I always try to make my ops fair, even if I don't like the anime/song used. I try to rate based on effort and talent.

Below is the video I would like Op'd. However if you don't think you'll like that one (or if you want more than one op), the other videos in my profile need ops too (be prepared to be disappointed by the video though):

I give detailed and honest opinions...exactly what you're looking for. In exchange, you can either op the one in my signature or this one - whichever you think you'll like better. Be warned, though - I tend to procrastinate when it comes to ops, so yours may not be up for a few days, or longer :/

Not a problem. I'm at work right now myself and I won't be able to get to yours for a few ours yet. Take you time. Even if I don't get the op for a while, I'm pretty sure I won't die.

But who ever told you it sucked needs their head examined!

I liked it, and from his comments on announcement forum so did rubyeye, so how could a Danniel and a Danielle both be wrong?

All right, I've already downloaded it. I'll give you as detailed an op as I can, but it probably won't be up until later tonight at the earliest.

Yeah Autraya I remember you leaving the op and thanks again for that. And thanks for continuing to say the video doesn't suck. lol. Thanks to Rubyeye too if he's reading this.

I basically wanted to make sure that the video really didn't suck before I went ahead and blamed the op-giver. I'm thinking that I'm going to start blaming him now though. What really pisses me off about the whole thing is I recently checked out some of the ops he's given out to other members and he gave really positive opinions to videos that I KNOW suck more than this one! I think he's playing favorites. Anyway, I appreciate the encouragement Autraya!

As for you, Copycat_Revolver, I've already seen the one on the left so doing the one on the right is no problem. lol. I'll check it out when I get home.
