Eternal Tears of Sorrow - Live Action

Post by Warheart » Mon Sep 04, 2006 7:36 am

Ok, I already released it in my Sig and several other forums but since some people advised me to announce it here I'll do so.

Eternal Tears of Sorrow

Audio: Muse - Blackout

Video: The Crow

Category: Drama, Sentimental, Romance
---

Not much to say about it. It was a present for a friend of mine and also an opportunity to make something different from time to time with an Artist and a movie I totally adore.

I think you did a great job on the atmosphere as well as the entire action synch, and this time I even admit that all of the effects had a purpose and where pretty much needed or added a lot to the video.

The only thing I really miss is a storyline to hold on to, I have never seen the movie (and even though it has been recommended to me by several people I don't plan to see it) so the whole video seems a bit too out of context for me. You get a lot of character stuff and scenes that are definately meaning something, but I could never really make out what. Especially all of the scenes with the crow.

Overall I'd say that this is a video with a very strong mood and very solid editing. It just doesn't have a high re-view rating for me because there is no storyline for me to follow, it's a bit too random if you don't know the movie.

A solid, simple action vid with great editing set to a rap song works for me :D great job

nice editing job, but like Ingow, I had a hard time figuring out the story. From what I can tell,

How close was I?

Not having scene the movie, and with all the motion blur making it hard to make out some scenes(I can tell why you used it, but hard to see through some of it), story's a little hard to follow, but excelllent editing work nonetheless. I can definately feel the mood in it.

The Crow is one of my favorite movies, I'm glad you decided to make this. I loved it and will definitely be keeping it. Nicely done.

@ the people that haven't seen the movie go and watch it otherwise it's hard to figure out what it's about. Only one hint, the protagonist is acutally dead only that the crow carried him back to the world of the living to avenge his love and himself who got killed by a group of criminals.

Thanks for the feedback tough. ;)
