All right, so this is my very first attempt at an AMV...so go easy on me. The actual editing was kinda fun, which wasn't what I was expecting. The AMV is not perfect, but you have to start somewhere, and set up challenges for oneself. The anime was selected because I had just gotten the DVD of Wedding Peach volume 2 and wanted to use it for my first AMV, since there is a distinct lack of Wedding Peach AMVs out there, indeed I daresay it could well be the best Wedding Peach AMV hitherto made, even given its manifest shortcomings. If only for the fact that a lot of people don't seem to like Wedding Peach...

Personally, I think the video came out, visually, and in terms of editing, about 150% better than I expected for my first video...and about 80% thanwhat I had originally intended. The planning for clip selection was about half premeditated, half on the fly, with a number of decisions about such being subject to rapid fluctuations. I started to run out of ideas (not to mention hard drive space) as the song made its instrumental closure, so I just decided to do nothing fancy and add some pretty basic scenes (Yes, I am aware that having the Love Angels happily drink milk after being depicted kneeling before Limone is a double entendre).
I am reasonably satisfied with the way the action sequences worked out.Wherever possible, I used scenes that generally matched the lyrics. A number of scenes were worked in simply because they looked cool, like the henshins and Wedding Peach firing the Saint Grenade Launcher.
The main weakness, in my opinion, of the AMV is the lip-synching sequences. Clearly that editing skill is going to take some work for future presentations. Hinagiku's synch in the first chorus came out almost exactly as planned, but not the others. Jama-P's lip-synching went through a number of changes. The first edit, horror of horrors, his mouth was just HANGING OPEN like Kimura's from Azumanga Daioh...

So download and enjoy.
