What is a TORRENT file?
The movies I need from a site are TORRENT & WMP says it needs a plugin or something. How do I play these things?

Alright, new problem:
I clicked on a link that was a torrent.
BitTorrent opened conveniently.
File.
Open Torrent File.
[MOV] Mega Man & Rock Man X3 Movie Pack
Clicked it.
OK.
Many files appear.
Selected "Ending.AVI"
OK.
Not a valid torrent file.
BS.
My computer STILL won't play AVI files anyway. How do I convert them or even open them for that matter?
