amv's doen to music in midi?

Are thier any amv's doen to music in the midi format?

I'm pretty sure you'd have to convert the midi to a .wav version before editing, but other than that there's nothing necessarily off-base with using a midid as a source (I just hope you have a good synthesizer, my on-motherboard sound card makes midis sounds very sucky).

I have a lot of old video game music in midi format that I may or may not use one day (need a better synthesizer first).

This is the closest I've seen but it's using a mod, which is considerably different. Great video though.
