X Tv Vs This Isn't What We Ment

I can't belive it took me over a week to decide on my next video. Generally it takes me a good while to complete an amv rather then to think about one but anyways, this is what I came up with.

X TV with This Isn't What We Ment, showing the characters' personal feeling on what is going on through the anime's storyline.

What do you think peeps?

I think there's already a definitive video of "This isn't what we meant", and it's VicBond's one.

However, my standard policy on making AMVs that someone else made before you is: can you do better? If you can, go ahead. (And if you DO manage to do something better than VicBond's, please let me know

)

If you can't, then don't do it. It won't be original, and, to be honest, it'll sound like a shadow of the original. I don't think anyone wants that for their vid, right?

However, you totally should make a X TV AMV. I am just saying that perhaps you should choose another song.

Indeed. Vicbond's This Isn't what we ment was the first music video I ever saw, and to be entirly honest, when I make a music video, I always tend to compare it with one of his, trying to picture how he would have put this certain scene. Basically, I see him as a sort of mentor. Even though, our styles are entirly different.

I love both songs and anime, so I AM going to give it a try. If I manage to do something more then just a common plain music video, I won't bother posting it up, but id I do manage, I'll let ya know

Ok ... I've been thinking ... which isn't really rare nowadays, but anyways ... does it really matter if there are 2 good amvs with the same song? I mean, type in Bring Me To Life in super search and you'll be flooded with tens if not hundreds of amvs with more then 1000 hits ...

And I can't say any of my vids got up to that even though I squirted all the originality I had out of me to do them ... hell they even get more opinions at time lol, then again, it might ... or rather .. MUST be paranoid little old me

Yeah, that's a great dilemma in any AMV maker's life.

I mean, everytime I watch Fight Club I say to myself: "dude, you ought to make a This is Your Life AMV". But then, if you search for it, it has been done a hundred times, and some are even good.

So what to do?

My belief is: if you can do better, then do it. If you can't, stay quiet. Feel free to disagree, and I suggest you find your own answers. Good luck

Ok, it's soon there, even though I had to go to the emergency room for a very alarming check up .... I managed to get home in time to finish the AMV before deadline .. all I gotta do now is change it to a decent non 1 gigabyte format .... and post it up

Seriously .. I got no idea how I could ever just say .. check it out ccause it's better then Vicbonds ... come on ... the guy's THE man, and a legend when it comes to music video ...

But you might still wanna give little old me a chance .. I mean ... you might be satisfied and actually enjoy my piece of work ...

well I know I enjoyed the whole 45 hours I spent working on it ... I'd appriciate if someone tried and gave me a chance
