New video created for a friend. She chose the song, I picked the footage to go with it. The video aims to showcase the suffering and pain that the characters go through in the series, and how they "swallow" the bad stuff so to speak and continue to persevare.

Song: Story of the year - Swallow the Knife.

This ones a more simple editing aproach to AR, less effectsy, slower in some areas, but also picks up with the music where apropriate. See video description for more info.

Nice. I was afaird I was going to be lost, having not seen the series and I was a little at the beginning. But, as it when on, good character development and the story came through. This is important to me in a drama video as they tend to lack the splosions that normally keep me entertained.

YAY a story of the year video ^^ And a good one.
I liked it. It shows well the dramatic aspect of the anime, with interesting characters profiles. The video isn't going upside down with the characters and it follows a straight line all along.
Technically, nice simple effects and good synchro.
I just disliked the parts seeing people talking, and some few scenes choices that I found unappropriated.

Excellent vid, I love what you did with the transitions, using basic fades and yet adding subtle complexities every now and then. You syncing to the drum solos was also A+.

I think this is one of the best vids to this anime I've seen. Finally I have a second NTHT video to add to my AMV collection.

I'm curious, which scene choices?

I mean scenes like between 0:50 and 0:53, because we can see flashy lights and flowers, which I think are too shiny compared to the atmosphere of the rest of the video.
There are also the scenes with the guy dressed in green, whom clothes are too flashy I think (green, red, yellow), but all that are insignifiants details.
