  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

RPBProject returns, #II: The Assumption of Innocence. (WTF?)

Post by Otohiko » Fri Jun 04, 2004 4:28 pm

That's right. Like the first one wasn't retarded enough.
(For those who don't remember, RPBP I, formerly known as the Recycled Penis Boobies ProjeKct, floated out last december...)

Exactly a year ago today, I sat down and started making my own videos. This week, I started wondering why. So, with this burning question in mind, I set down to make some more AMV's. Somewhere down the road, I derailed...

This video does not answer that question. (or does it...)

RPBP II: The Assumption of Innocence

Anime:
Kareshi Kanojo no Jijou [KareKano, aka. His and Her Circumstances]

Audio:
Robert Fripp - UGM Japan TV Interview [Oct. 8, 2002]
King Crimson - Happy Banana Tuna
King Crimson - Einstein's Relatives

(I'm sure with titles like these you'll find it hard to resist)

It was fun making it. If you don't take it too seriously, I think it can be fun to watch. Otherwise... well, whatever.

If you want a reason to see it,
IT HAS LIP SYNC. AND BANANA.

Feel free to share your frustration, insolence or hidden desires to slaughter me after viewing said motion picture.

Thanks.

Well... now I need to make an actual, serious KareKano video I've been planning.

In a sense, this was a testing ground for what I still remember about editing and how I can work with KareKano footage. Unless my brain shuts off again, I might have a 'real video' to show for what I've learned here soon...

That video is severely fucked up, the work of a mind only tangentially connected to reality, or under chemical influence. Or is it the Kare Kano footage itself.

I thought it was great. Good work man.

If there ever was a reason to do not less, but more...
...I still have at least a couple of hours' worth of KC bloopers on various CD's

Let's all just hope I never get to them :P
