Evil and disturbing (possible One Piece spoilers)

Never let me near Photoshop and One Piece screencaps after a box of pocky and two bottles of ramune.

For the hell of it, I ended up re-coloring part of a screenshot. A really crappy job I'll admit, because my tablet is on the fritz and I'm limited to a mouse and color filters for the moment.

But anyway, this particular picture begs the question: is it just me? Or does Shanks as a blond bear an uncanny resemblance to Sanji?

On one hand, I'm thinking it's just Oda's refreshing yet somewhat uniform art style. Yet the Fanfiction Demon and conspiracy theorist in me is screaming that because we know absolutely nothing about Sanji's family (or lack thereof), it's a distinct possibility. Even moreso since we know just as much about Shanks' relatives. Which is to say, nothing.

Any thoughts? Or do I need to drink a cup of chamomile and lie down?

Make a fanfiction soap opera of them being long lost brothers or something equally as disturbing. Wouldn't that be odd? O.o ideas, ideas.

I too noticed a resemblance. Just let Shanks hair grow over one eye and he could be Sanji's long lost older brother.

It is sad how we know nothing about Sanji's past. All we know is that he was born in North Blue.
